A page that sells indigenous themed clothing notforprofit and cultural awareness page clothingthegaps has absolutely slammed kilmore on social media and people are baying for blood in the comments, kilmore gone into full damage control and turned commenting off everything.

It was never mentioned in the NFNL statement that an independent tribunal found the charge unproven and the statement went on to say that a review could result in a number of options including penalties. From what I hear, CCTV footage and accounts given by the two umpires on the night do not support the Stars allegations. Kilmore’s social media comments appear to have been shut down due to numerous, vile, disgusting, unfounded, libellous posts directed at the club.

The burden of proof needs to be very high to find someone guilty of this extreme racism. My thoughts is a a couple of players claiming so isn’t that.

Did it happen? I have no idea, seems an odd thing to make up. But if the player in question in denying it and there isn’t an independent witness it’s hard to substantiate.

The league have always lacked the backside in terms of dealing with any Fitzroy Stars related incidents, both where they are the instigators, and or on the receiving end.

Social media is a POS, we don't have the full story and the court of public opinion has deemed that Kilmore should fold.

I have family at KFNC and it’s my understanding there are indigenous families involved with the club off field and demanding answers now or they are walking away from the club.

He said, she said cases are always difficult as both sides feel harshly done by. Without independent corroborating evidence these matters tend to leave everyone with the proverbial bad taste in their mouths with no solution unless an olive branch is extended.

Most are former Epping juniors who went to South in their later junior years… we are stoked to have many of them return home

Again though well done on the Lakers getting 19's, we all agree it's difficult in populated areas to attract and retain 19's, even more difficult for Kinglake so hope they go well and enjoy their footy

Without an independent witness it’s basically impossible to convict. I feel for the Stars and the frustration if the allegations are correct but we need to accept that we also can’t suspended people for extreme racism without substantial proof.
