Speaking to a Lalor supporter over the weekend they are pencilling in 6 win target for 2026. Have themselves ahead of West H and Turtles and think they can still beat Kinglake with who they have lost and even Watsonia. Massive year for them if they do that.

Judging by their first 2 “recruits” I’m guessing this is a troll account.

If this investigation proves the accusations to be false, I'd love to see some of these people/organisations apologize and redact some of the things they've said/posted. But I doubt they will.

The incident was reported by the umpires and court coordinators not the club so maybe the pile on is warranted, not the first time Kilmore have been questioned over racial comments

If either of those parties witnessed the incident there is 0% she was found not guilty.

I’d imagine if was reported by them once they were made aware of the incident from the Stars after it happened.

Well it’s not strange at all. They often don’t attend.

If they have any evidence to provide often they do it via video link or written statement.

Like what kind of evidence would the Court Coordinator’s give?

Both umpires and the venue manager gave evidence at the hearing, not in person but from a remote location. The venue manager did not see or hear the incident and the umpires gave evidence that did not support the allegations made against the Kilmore player. The report was made on what officials were told, not what they heard or saw.

Meanwhile on the premiers photo the whole team has been accused.
People livelihoods are up in the air even though them themselves were accused of nothing. How is that fair or right.
I’d be looking into legal action for defamation against the people making those comments

And then the direct messages to the Kilmore page and to individuals involved that had nothing to do with the incident are as vile, disgusting and racist as it gets.
Again I would be collecting them and taking them to police as it is racism and there has been threats made as well.

Fitzroy Stars and their supporters have been doing it for years.

I know they're the victims in this alleged incident, but when I was playing you'd get called white dogs and other vile stuff all the time. A few instances that the umpires would have to sprint off the ground and get locked into the rooms for their safety.

The league always lacked the backbone to do anything about it.

Interesting point that you raise and will it make a precedent that a player can be reported although the umpire did not witness what is alleged to have occurred? Will this mean that a player can tell an umpire that they were struck by their opponent and although the umpire did not witness what occurred, reports the alleged offender and sends them to the tribunal? What a tin of worms this could open.
