Well I’d imagine the umpire was simply made aware of the racism claim and they may have mentioned it to the league. I think any claim of racismInteresting point that you raise and will it make a precedent that a player can be reported although the umpire did not witness what is alleged to have occurred? Will this mean that a player can tell an umpire that they were struck by their opponent and although the umpire did not witness what occurred, reports the alleged offender and sends them to the tribunal? What a tin of worms this could open.
Or homophobia would result in a head up to the league.
The Umpire in football can add “player complained off a strike at 2 mins into the 3rd please check the tape” on their match report.
