Bond isn’t up to it, not good enough with and without the ballDowling is a better wingman than Nankervis. Hinge can play wing/def. Bond is stiff to be dropped.

He has never played a good game for us.I don't get the nank hate, Nicks played him 40% game time and then dropped him.. glad he's back in
Fit and strong thoughBond isn’t up to it, not good enough with and without the ball
Hinge coming off an injury and a half a SANFL game, have we not learnt not to play underdone players ??
Weve got 17 half back/wingers in the side.
Nope.
People are too critical of Hinge. Our ball use from defense is diabolical with the players we have injured. We couldn't play all of Murray, Borlase, Jones, Bond and Michalanney in the same team. Now we have ball use options. Cumming, Cook, Nankervis, Hinge, Milera is MUCH better
And playing guys like Dowling and Edwards isn't going to fix our ball use out of defense, because they're midfielders. We'd have to bring those guys in for Soligo. Maybe we should have done that but at the same time, maybe we should give Soligo a run to build form against by far the easiest team yet
Owing to the fact we're never going to drop Keays and we were always going to bring back Laird, the side looks much much better than last week
Spot on. We'll probably turn the ball over more but thats the risk all the good teams are taking and it's the way we need to play. I strongly suspect all the Hinge doubters are going to be reminded of how important he is to us.Nope.

Wow! Great changesIn: Cumming, Hinge, Nankervis, Laird
Out: Pedlar, Jones, Bond, O'Brien
Edwards...Chayce Jones had four touches and missed the ball with his foot
The bar is extremely low. I'd back an injured Hinge to outperform that bar and we have no one else
A real club would have been working on developing a ruck for a while now. Outside of McAndrews, the draw is empty so we can't even afford to lose ROB unless we go out and bring in someone else - which I'm certainly for.A real club would tell ROB to explore his opportunities.
Our first pick this year probably needs to be used on a Smith replacement.Chayce Jones had four touches and missed the ball with his foot

I like Hinge, but i'm highly skeptical that he's fully fit.
also we've picked too many defenders unless we plan on playing Hinge of Nank as mids/wingmen.
Edwards has earned a chance, and having him in would be a better balance
A stronger team than last week. Lets hope we can through injury free. In: Cumming, Hinge, Nankervis, Laird
Out: Pedlar, Jones, Bond, O'Brien
Provided we use Nank better than we did last year.We now have enough half backs
Last week we had two ball users in the side (Milera and Cook). That's nowhere near enough. Now we have four users off half back and the wings plus a 5th utility in Nankervis
Edwards is a midfielder
It's all up to Nank. If he keeps turning in circles and dithering when he gets the ball, he won't make it.Provided we use Nank better than we did last year.
How is Bond stiff to be dropped? He actually doesn't do anything like at all. Laird is genuinely just better than him and that's saying something because Laird wasn't off to a flyer himself this year.Dowling is a better wingman than Nankervis. Hinge can play wing/def. Bond is stiff to be dropped.
He is only there to keep the seat warm for Curtin/Ah Chee. It's all up to Nank. If he keeps turning in circles and dithering when he gets the ball, he won't make it.
I agree, but playing him for less than 50% game time doesnt helpIt's all up to Nank. If he keeps turning in circles and dithering when he gets the ball, he won't make it.
