The mindset throughout the week desperately needs to be anger at losing and wanting to make things right. Not just taking this as a sure win, because it's not.

For a couple of guys (Powell, Zurhaar, Duursma etc), if they hold their spots then they should be clearly told that they owe us and they need to earn their spots. No ****ing around until the final siren.

I'd be putting a mark against anyone who takes it easy against Richmond as someone that we want to get off the list.

CCJ is obvious, but the question is who and how we replace him for this last week.

Zurharr needs to be out. Has offered nothing at all this year and is a senior player and supposed leader. Wildly disappointing. We have the cattle to replace his position too.

Backline needs a brain transplant to a few of the blokes.

Wouldn't mind seeing Dova and Banch in the same FWD line.

Brayden George is a similar player to Zurhaar. But can't see that happening unless BG really starts hitting consistent form in the VFL. BG really needs to bang the door down to get CZs spot in the AFL side. Leaders are backed more than other players in the team (rightly or wrongly)

Whilst the appeal of seeing Goad in the AFL side over CJ seems appealing, I think the coaches are likely to err on the side of caution given Goad's frame.

A combo of Xerri, Trembath and Darling is likely for the foreseeable future. This comb is pretty good. Best case scenario is that Goad gets games after the mid-season Bye (post Rd. 11/12).

On a positive front, loved Parker's work today. Game would have been over much sooner if it were not for Parker. Best game he has played so far in North colours.
