He's a player that gets under the radar. Not many seem to notice he does nothing and is invisible most games.
Had 11 touches, and I wager that all 11 were in 2 quarters.

We either need to shift him back for Bond, who looks all at sea, or drop him to the 2s to get the ball in his hands and some confidence up. Seems to play 1 decent game then 1 really poor one.

It was an improvement by Keays, but non existent when the pressure went up in the second half.

He really needs to go, before Taylor who showed composure even game was in the line
If Taylor had the energy and tank that Keays does, he'd be a hell of a footballer.

And he was our most dangerous forward too.

Its a strange one, but we come to expect that from this coaching group.
Crows “we need to improve our midfield, whose available”
Rachelle “give me a go” and then delivers
Nicks “that’s enough from you Rach”

Keays was great for us when we needed his type. Now that we’re trying to contend, him and guys like Hinge will cost us. We need players who stand up in the big moments against the best teams, these types do the opposite.

Hinge has the skill set that we desperately need.

Yes his form last year wasnt great, but Hinge at his best is still valuable. Keays at his best im not so sure.

Has been one of our real disappointments this year

So many pegged him as that reliable defender who should/would just slot in

With more exposure he has proven not to be anywhere near as reliable as made out to be
I think we’ve found our reliable small defender in max even though we thought he’d be much more.

Out - we wont make all of these

Walker - the poorest of poor management. Either doesnt travel to Brisbane to play a game we were never winning, or rests last night. Just dumb.

Butts - The body is a clear worry moving forward. Just cannot stay fit.

ANB - Probably wanted to play to give some leadership and credit to him for digging in under duress. Give him a spell.

Bond - Not upto it im afraid.

Cumming - You either give him a spell in the 2s or push him back for Bond. Didnt make any glaring errors but didnt do enough.

Taylor survives, hes too clever to leave out and I reckon he could have a big game in him next week.

IN

Dawson - Assuming hes good to go, id play him back

Murray - Should never have been dropped, straight back in

Draper - Get him out of the SANFL and play him. I get the form isnt there but it was only 2 weeks ago he exploded from stoppages and did all the things we want from him

Ludo/Marsh - neither are ready but give one a taste of it against VFL standard oppo.

Edwards - Should never have been dropped

Hopefully when Ah Chee is back Keays is the one out.

Hopefully....

That's likely what it will be, but it shouldn't be
I know Draper is not playing great SANFL footy, but I would bring him in against Richmond.

Feel he could lift in an AFL team rather than need to be the best player at a lower level.

If that makes sense....

If we bring Draper in it will be the same old story. Nicks will stick him in the graveyard HFF role with maybe 2 or 3 squirts through the middle. He will have ten touches in a couple of games and then be dropped due to not having done enough. Rinse repeat.

Our SANFL team is absolute dogshit.

Get him out of there.
