Yes please to Toby Greene, still a good player and more importantly provides leadership and a bit of campaigner about him.
Get it done Rosa
Like a bandit. Rids simply can't stay on the park. I'd be happy with Hayes replacing him. A first rounder would be gold.Twomey saying Lions still keen on Ridley.
hes not worth a first round pick but if we can negotiate to part pay his remaining contract in exchange for a first round 2027 pick I would take it.
Yeah just not sure how we sweeten the deal enough to get the 27 FRP (i am figuring we need it for Koby).Like a bandit. Rids simply can't stay on the park. I'd be happy with Hayes replacing him. A first rounder would be gold.

I'll leave maths to you and others jjj. All I can say is I recognise the need. It seems we need anything we can get.Yeah just not sure how we sweeten the deal enough to get the 27 FRP (i am figuring we need it for Koby).
Toby wouldn’t leave gws, if it was to, it would be for success. Don’t think even 2 mill a year would turn his head. Desperately wants a flagToby Greene,
33 in September, out of contract and an unrestricted free agent. Wants 3 years, Giants only offering 2. I like that we are going down the youth path but in this instance wears a few hats. Leader, fwd/mid, arrogance and swagger

Doesn’t mean he’ll accept the trigger if someone comes calling with 2 yearsThere is no way this club triggers another season for gresh right?
He has not been afl standard since being at the club and wasn’t the year before at saints.

These are probably the leading names in the VFL broken into three tiers. 1) young, longer term project. 2) 2+ years out of draft eligibility, still a longer term project. 3) plug and play
Ollie Griffen, 186cm, 19 year old, hybrid fwd, Sandringham Dragons
Nick Staropoli, 191cm, 19 year old, hybrid defender, Calder Cannons
Xavier Bamert, 185cm, 19 year old, half fwd/midfielder, North Melbourne VFL
Jaxon Artemis, 182cm, 19 year old, small utility, Tasmania VFL Devils
Noah Tulli, 180cm 20 year old, small fwd, Weribee
Jed Hagan, 175cm, 21 year old, small utility fwd, Tasmania VFL Devils
Max Mapley, 199cm, 20 year old, ruck, Tasmania VFL Devils
Sam Toner, 182cm, 20 year old, hybrid fwd, Richmond VFL
Charlie Clarke, 21 year old, 183cm, small fwd, Port Melbourne
Loulie Montgomery, 184cm, 20 year old, hybrid defender, Giants VFL
Josh Tovey, 191cm, 21 year old, fwd/mid, Port Melbourne
Tom Barnett, 196cm, 19 year old, key defender, Coburg
Jackson Voss, 184cm, 25 year old, defender, Frankston
Josh Clarke, 183cm, 24 year old, midfielder, St Kilda VFL
Marcus Herbert, 183cm, 23 year old, midfielder, Geelong VFL
Luke Parks, 191cm, 25 year old, defender, Williamstown
Two names seen linked to the mid season draft as well. Noah is well spoken of from last year. Van Wyk was one I really liked but unfortunately hurt himself so we went with Blackiston. Putting up good numbers again I n2026.
Noah Hibbins~Hargreaves, 186cm, 19 year old, utility, Subiaco (via Dandenong Stingrays)
Archie Van Wyk, 203cm, 21 year old, Ruck, North Adelaide (SANFL)
No to JedTalon Delacey another watch from WA. Jed Hagan is the one I want a look at at the very least if we can.
I like Greene but I think 3 years is a bit much. At 36 he'll be much slower, won't be as impactful. Could become a liability and at the price he would ask for it's not worth it. His type of leadership has it's weight when he's influencing the game.
Reckon Greene is the type you get on 3 year contract when he's 30 and you're on the cusp of a contention.
I think if we do get someone we should be aiming for players that'll be 28-30 by 2028/2029 or spread of B+ experience on the cheap.

Now read your 'radical' post. Then you dont get him
And you dont get change
And name those players. All well and good saying your going to be a millionare, but actually doing it, 2 very different things
Your saying its easy, and it aint, what your asking for is almost impossible for us, surely even you can understand that?
Not having a go at you, this is normal for the avg boo hoo fan, to say similar
Remember the Ricky dyson and 3rd rounder days..... would get us nick daicos. 'Why isnt the club doing it, so obvious'
runner and disposal was my understanding. A high production player though. His midfield quality this year is certainly something elseCan someone tell me whats wrong with Joel Fitzgerald 189cm
22 yo 40 disp, 2 goals, 8 marks, 7 tackles
the idea would be that he speeds up the development of the kids around him all whilst giving us that swagger he has.I like Greene but I think 3 years is a bit much. At 36 he'll be much slower, won't be as impactful. Could become a liability and at the price he would ask for it's not worth it. His type of leadership has it's weight when he's influencing the game.

Haven't we been trying to do this for 25 years and it has not worked. Who was the last genuine A grade player we got in? Brendon Goddard? then who?I think if we do get someone we should be aiming for players that'll be 28-30 by 2028/2029 or spread of B+ experience on the cheap.
Doesn’t mean he’ll accept the trigger if someone comes calling with 2 years
We're not the only morons in the AFLWho on earth is offering Gresham 2 years on his recent form
