That’s fair but it’s Tiggersbuilding him
Maybe vertical leap played a part? Not sure how high he can jump, but the new rules suit an athletic jumper.Had Maley ever genuinely rucked before he came to us? Seems like we just plonked him there because of his athleticism
Edwards got dramatically reduced midfield time in his 2nd game, so no coincidence he found less of the ball.Edwards is extremely confusing, looked really solid in his first game and we then drop him after one average performance and he doesn't get a look in again. Classic AFC
Winner winner chicken dinner!!!Ok, let’s apply some logic here. Nicks’ philosophy since 2020 has been “why change a winning side”. In fact he tends not to change a losing side.
Out: Walker, Butts
In: Murray, Dawson
Jackson is more than a 60 key forward, you only have to actually watch last night to know.Really? I'm taking a 60 goal key forward all day long.
There’s no reason that Dawson and Curtin can’t swap as 3rd tall and through the midfield. We have Berry, Peatling, Soligo, Rankine and Rachelle as well and only 3 can play midfield at any one time.If he’s going to play mid, get him in there
Dawson coming in probably has something to do with that.Edwards got dramatically reduced midfield time in his 2nd game, so no coincidence he found less of the ball.
It's almost if the selectors were creating a reason to drop him...
Edward’s was given more midfield time in his 2 games than Zac Taylor has been given in 2 years. Against Brisbane the coaches even played Dawson off half back so he could have a good crack at it, and he didn’t manage a single clearance and Brisbanes midfield dominated. Unfortunately Charlie is not good enough yet to be playing AFL as a pure midfielder.Edwards got dramatically reduced midfield time in his 2nd game, so no coincidence he found less of the ball.

Ok, so no Maley and they’re playing a 2 talls forward line, possibly with Dawson or Curtain as a 3rd tall.So it seems like the ins are Nurray, Maley and Dawson.
So the third out will be one of Pedlar and Taylor (unless they drop Bond and play Dawson off half back like someone had spoken about).

I think many expected a key forward to come in for Walker. I definitely did.Changes are as predicted and expected.
Far too harsh on a kid who had only played 2 games.Leave the Edwards train people, He's not up to it. It's obvious unfortunately. Low energy and not enough tricks for the AFL. He can dream on that first game for the rest of his career.
Probably Nankervis & if the selectors are smart, he's a late in for ANB to manage his knee.
