Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

Some thoughts:

1. Can you believe Green Bay choked at Arizona?
2. Can you believe how much Oakland sucked?
3. Looks like Winston has regained some of last year's form
4. Porthos didn't get burned again by the Eagles, but he got burned.
5. Stmookeyj and El Scorcho are in it, and they each missed a week.

Peace & good luck

14 - Denver Broncos

11 - Pittsburgh Steelers
10 - Cleveland Browns
09 - Carolina Panthers
08 - Green Bay Packers (surely they won't lose again)
07 - New England Patriots
06 - Houston Texans
05 - Minnesota Vikings
04 - New York Jets (finally)
03 - New Orleans Saints (if the defence comes to play..)
02 - St. Louis Rams (no Faulk!)
01 - Buffalo Bills (I tossed a coin)

**** it's a hard week to pick. That took me..... and I'm still uncertain about my order, but It'll have to do.

Godamnit!

I just found out Marshall Faulk broke his hand. I didn't know that until just a few minutes ago. I knew I had picked St. Louis, so I dropped what I was doing and came rushing over to make a change (and in fairness I was going to share the Faulk information). Then I saw the reason I picked the Rams to begin with - they are playing the freakin' Cardinals. What the hell can you do about that?

That's when I saw that I've apparently boofed two peoples scores. Not a good day. I'll make the fixes a bit later.

Thanks & Peace,

10 Minnesota
11 Cleveland
12 Indianapolis
13 Green Bay
14 Denver

A better week for me last week than the first two rounds, and yes, the Raiders stunk badly on Monday Night Football.

It gets better for the silver and black, hopefully. Playing San Diego at home this week, and while the Chargers are a team that we should obviously beat, Marty Schotteneheimer has a way of getting his teams up to play (and beat) the Raiders more than the others. Having said that, I'm tipping Oakland, but only just.

All my tips this week (and yes, it is an incredibly hard week to pick 'em... I think I'd have as much luck deciding these by way of the dartboard method)...

14 - Denver over Detroit
13 - Green Bay over Chicago
12 - Kansas City over Baltimore
11 - Washington over New England
10 - Cleveland over Cincinnati
09 - St. Louis over Arizona
08 - Minnesota over San Francisco
07 - New York Jets over Dallas
06 - Indianapolis over New Orleans
05 - Oakland over San Diego
04 - Carolina over Atlanta
03 - Buffalo over Philadelphia
02 - Houston over Jacksonville
01 - Pittsburgh over Tennessee

At this early stage, Kansas City's looking like the class of the league. The Raiders made Denver look even better than they are on Monday night, but hopefully by the business end of the season, we'll pip the Broncos for a playoff spot. ;)

Week 4 with a handful of darts

More Dartboard specials....this week I'll use a blindfold

14. Denver Broncos ( Detroit + grass = defeat )
13. Green Bay Packers (surely not again??)

11. Washington Redskins

9. Pittsburgh Steelers (**** to get licked & squeezed)

Favre loves Soldier Field....it's cold, near home, no Ditka on the opposing sidelines, a few cheeseheads in the crowd and besides Chicago are bluntly useless.

1.Cleveland Browns
2.Houston Texans
3.Minnesota Vikings
4.Tennessee Titans
5.St. Louis Rams
6.Washington Redskins

Go Vikings!!

After the colts game Tebucky Jones and Ashley Ambrose were so upset at the way they played they decided to end it all.
From either side of a one way street they simutaneously threw themselves in front of a speeding bus.

Fortunately the bus got through untouched.

I can't pick against em, looks like my 1 point game is locked in for the rest of the year. At least there'll be no December let down this year.

:(
