Who do you wish would stop creating duplicate threads on an opposition board?

And why?

Just answer the question

why do you care dont you want to see what the other collingwood supporters think about who you should take......

Plus im interested in who hawthorn will take as a result of who you guys want or think will be selected by your club

1st option - Steele Sidebottom. as Jack Ziebell who was my other first should be snapped up. He will add class and excellent disposal.

2nd option - Sam Blease. I would love to see us select him even as much as Sidebottom, if he developed well he would open up our midfield along with Thomas in the future with his pace and willingness to carry the footy.

It would be a nice site for Pies fans watching Thomas and Blease take trademark runs through the middle of the G.

100% agreed.

3rd option - Ben Cousins. Enough said.

Sam Blease, Definately. Great Midfield option. He is also a great kick at goal. Most of all he is damn fast.

Hopefully we can sneak concrete into his shoes at draft camp so he doesn't test to well, because I reckon his 20 metre will get a few clubs looking.

I'd be pretty happy with either of those boys. I wouldn't mind if we went after Trengrove either, last link in our young defence.

Daniel Rich - won't be around though
Jack Ziebell - see above
Michael Hurley - see above
Hamish Hartlett - see above
Nick Naitanui - see above
Jack Watts - see above
Tyrone Vickery - see above

Steele Sidebottom
Jackson Trengove
Chris Yarran
Tom Swift
Sam Blease

To be perfectly honest, I reckon I'll be very comfortable with whomever Hine takes, with the possible exception of another key forward or HBF.

I'm pretty confident it will be one of these boys.

I would actually be rapped with Tom Swift although it does hold some risk I guess.

I for one hope collingwood keep drafting on the basis of talent without paying mind to names of players, we aren't parents worrying about bullying here.
QFT, besides, Dave The Man has a man-crush on Jordan Roughead, he'd be so disappointed to hear that we'd excluded him from draft calculations based on his name. :p

Have a Go at the Rounds:

1:McKernan/Blease/Sidebottom/Lisle
2:Blease/Suban/Roughead
3:Roughead/Browne

Where do you expect Roughead to go TRS?
I would think no earlier than 3rd round. Roughead is about 200cm and a nice mover, but he's probably around the 5th best ruckman available after Naitanui, Vickery, McKernan and Trengove. Now, it might seem a bit rich calling Trengove (or even McKernan) a "ruckman" when he'd probably only pinch-hit there at AFL level, but the first five ruckmen taken last year were Kreuzer/McEvoy/Lobbe/Simpson/Thoolen (taken #47, ie. late third round), and you could raise the same query over a couple of those.

Because most clubs don't have more than 4 or 5 ruckmen on their list, there doesn't seem to be a lot of them taken in the early rounds. There may also be a perception that ruckmen are more of a gamble than players of other positions. Roughead would probably be very good value if you got him with a 3rd rounder, but I can't see him going much earlier, while he could certainly go later.

Is Roughead worth us pursuing him? My initial thought is "yes", but on the proviso that he's there at our 3rd rounder, and that we feel we can get ruck time into him in the VFL side. There's going to be one of Wood/Bryan playing there, along with Thoolen (if they do decide he's a ruckman, I can't see him as anything else) and Keeffe. Bit of a logjam, potentially.
