I know you're trolling, but don't be that guy.
You're right. But that's pretty similar to my rankings. I notice you have 2 Reddens.

Wow - so brownlow polling is how you work out who is better? That is a step down from using super coach points. Now you're just getting desperate. Anyone can cherrypick to make their team's player seem a better option than the other. How did Ziebll poll in the Brownlow?

Good luck with your poll.

In 2013? JZ kicked 20 goals to Rockcliffes 7. Or have you gone back to when Ziebell was recovering from 2 broken legs to get your stats. As opposed to your 'clearance' and 'goals from outside 50' barometer that you're using? Or do you want to use toughness as a barometer too?
I've never used SC or DT points to compare the players. Rockliff has Ziebell's measure in disposals, marks, goals, clearances, tackles, 1%'ers and many more. I'm sure most of your fellow North supporters are laughing at your attempts too.
Don't get me wrong, I rate Ziebell as a player and think he'll be gun. But to say he's better than Rockliff at this point in time, is just laughable.

Thanks stat man. That helps when you have 1 kid have 2 broken legs. 2013 is a better indication than 2009.I've compared the respective stats of each player from the time they were drafted. So, career wise.

You are too funny. JZ kicks 20 goals in 2013 - Rockcliffe 7 - yet you are claiming Rockcliffe has his measure when it comes to kicking goals. Laughable. That's why I took the average. Do you know what average means?
It's not laughable. The two are close enough to suggest it's a difference in opinion.

Nice padding stat man.
Do you know how to read? I said I took the career average, which has Rockliff slightly ahead in goals. Besides, you're acting as if goals is the determining factor in deciding who is the better player. Want to compare anything else?
Yeah and Rockcliffe has more touches than Ablett at the same age so he must be better than Gaz as well.It actually is. Especially when one player averages 7-8 more disposals a game, amasses more Brownlow votes and impacts the scoreboard more.

And for the last time, it's Rockliff*. Not Rockcliffe.
Ziebell has had two broken legs in that time, and Rockliff has played forward a lot more in that time, and so you'd expect him to average more goals.
Having said that, taking just the one season and using that as a comparison isn't exactly fair either, as Rockliff didn't have THAT good a year before his crazy hot streak at the end of the year.
I think Rockliff is the better player as he has had more chance to prove himself, and so he has influenced games more and shown his wares far moreso than Ziebell, who has had injuries to curtail his impact. If Ziebell didn't have those injuries, because we all know how hard broken legs are to come back from, I wouldn't be surprised to Ziebell ahead.
But at this moment in time, Rockliff is ahead.
Sidebottom is chronically underrated in these discussions. Youngest player in the 08' draft class, first and only player to play 100 games from the same draft group.
Premiership player, received NS votes in both GF's. 24 disposals in the next GF. First final he played, 28 disposals.
He is a better player than Ziebell. Has done far more.
David Zaharakis is currently one of the most overrated and inconsistent players in the comp IMO, Plays about 8 good games a year. He defiantly has X factor but sidebottom is one of the most solid and consistent players out there, you know what your gonna get out of him and has proven to show x factor in Grandfinals. Just my opinion
Steele Sidebottom D.O.B 2/1/91
Jack Ziebell 28/2/91
Jack Watts 26/3/91
Liam Shiels 29/4/91.
Not even close.

His age is always a sticking point, Wiki and such list him as 1991, however the Collingwood website lists him as 1992.
Everyone mentioned in this rant fest and the last few pages are overrated. To date, they've been just two AA players from this draft. Yet this thread pumps up Sloane, Rockliff, Shuey, Ziebell, etc. as the next Voss, Ablett, Judd, Black, Mcleod and Hodge. Wingard was AA after kicking 43 goals in his second year. He wouldn't have been allowed to be drafted if he was born in 92.
I understand that, just mentioning it as it's probably the reason Collingwood supporters always bang on about him being the youngest player from the draft.
