Seattle should have gone in again to confirm this as another flogging - really got to start wondering if Reid will get to see out the season?

whew...it is over.....thank God

When is the draft?

Eagles announcers- "It doesn't get worse than this." Too true

He'll finish the season- and then will resign, rather than be fired. Too in with the ownership.

Very disappointing.

Only took him 15 seconds- and fortunately, it will only be his responsibility for four more weeks.

DeSean Jackson's fall from grace is really quite remarkable.

He was close to my most feared player in the league this time last year.

Now...

obviously hasn't got his head in it. the big question is how he performs if he switches teams for a respectable contract.

and BTW - something I should of posted earlier....

Yeh probably, however the pressure on Andy until the next game is going to intense to say the least, would not be surprised in the least if he pulls the pin over the next few days, feels like the honorable thing to do at this point.

Good win by the Hawks - not pretty but it got the job done after a short turnaround.

As for the Eagles, yeah all the hype about them comes to nothing but when some of your players after the game continue to talk themselves up, that is part of the problem. I can't see how Reid is the problem with where they are at the moment.

It's a bit unfair to put too much blame on Young for the loss.

The Eagles run D was woeful early. The first TD run by Lynch was a result of a D without their head in the game. Everyone assuming someone else was going to put the effort in to bring him down. Been a problem for them for most of the season.

The second TD showed how badly they are scheming on D. Everyone getting sucked to the LOS and no contain on the outside. Looked like they we playing a goal-line stand.

Just on Lynch, I'm glad to see him doing well. Have always liked him as a back. Now he's not running down pedestrians and off the weed he's showing what Buffalo knew he could be (although the drug testers might want to test that - he looked today like a bloke with diabetes or a bad case of the munchies).

As of the "Dream Team", definitely time to shunt out the Fat Controller and clean out the freak show he's surrounded himself in recent seasons.

Lynch in monster form the last 5 weeks and he is hard to bring down when playing like this.

Just ask Jeff Dunne about it!!

You're a bad man Chism.

Me and our DB's (& most of New Orleans) still wake up in cold sweats reliving that play.

One of the top 5 worst plays in Saints history (and that's saying something).

Today's TD run wasn't quite as beastly as the "stiff-arm run" - more a D that couldn't be bothered.

Agree on Lynch. He's a beast when he's running mad. One of the most aggressive runners in the league when he's in the zone.

Tebow might actually look like a QB this week againt the Vikings secondary.

If he isn't prepared to throw or his OL can't protect him when he does, this game might actually turn out to be a lot tougher than most would think.

Can't see where the Vikings are going to get points, so it could be one of those games with scores in single digits and another Tebow 4th Qtr drive that ends up winning the game.

He might even win it on a 70yd pass play! That would give the talking heads another angle on the inevitable 24/7 Tebow talk-fest.

Okung out for year with torn pec after that after the whistle manoeuvre by Cole

Just wondering where you'd put this Eagles team down for pre-season hype.

I'd say the most hyped team since the 08 Patriots, if not that, surely before my time following the league (2006)

I don't know how you can draw any parallels with the 08 Patriots. The 08 Patriots didn't go out and buy all the big name FA's on the market and then claim they were a dream team. The 08 Patriots hadn't signed up their QB for 100 million in the back of one good year. Sure they'd come off a good season the year before but any team that's had a season like that is going to go in to the next season as favourites.

The only comparison you might be able to make is both teams had an injured QB coming off outstanding years, which usually makes a pretty big difference. Very strange comparison.

Agreed Rory. The Pats have never been a "Dream Team" and it's why they still had a winning season with a backup QB.

Dallas the year they signed TO might be a better comparison.

In fact any Dallas team of the past decade might be a better comparison. :)

Got to agree with you JD.

There was talk during the week that Jared Allen looked tired against the Falcons - he didn't even manage a single hurry against them. Mind you the Vikings DL is probably the least of the Vikings worries this week.

The entire Vikings defensive backfield is in a state a chaos due to injuries and a general lack of talent. There are starters in the secondary who haven't been on the team longer than two or three weeks.

Add to that Peterson out, Harvin injured, and Jenkins on IR to amplify your post.

I think it'll still be reasonably close though....

Vikings 16 - Broncos 24
