Except his commentary on keeping is so biased its not funny ie. his criticism of Wade and lack of criticism of HaddinHealy has one redeeming feature, his insights into the art of keeping. Although I suppose they could wheel out Gilly for that.
I'd call that less bias and more reality. You won't find many people outside of Victoria who think Haddin isn't a better keeper than Wade. Haddin polished his keeping considerably but for some reason the accepted wisdom on BigFooty is that he's still the keeper he was a few years ago.Except his commentary on keeping is so biased its not funny ie. his criticism of Wade and lack of criticism of Haddin

Not specifically the commentary team, but Nine delaying the coverage into Perth really shits me. Mainly because they obviously know the second innings is only going to go 40 overs and so instead of one ad at the end of an over or after a wicket they can put in two or three or four. Still use up the allotted TV time, but with ads instead of cricket.
So if you didn't know the result already, once they started packing in the extra ads you know the game isn't going to go the distance.
Im pretty sure they do that so they can show the news in the innings break which will be at around the normal time not at 3:00 or so
Some may say idiot, others will say probably the best caller in the game, may not be everyone cup of tea but geez it is the vast majorities if the radio ratings and HS survey is to go by.
I love his Cricket commentary, he lawry and Nicholas are my favourites.

Call me old fashioned, but I like old Phant too. Bill may get off on the Vic thing a bit too much at times but he's a dam site better at the commentary thing than Tubby 'Goose' Taylor. He is just a fair dinkum dummy.
At times Slats & Healy arent a whole lot better either.
that's their choice then.He
He was rated number 2 on radio. 2 from 15 commentators is pretty good, wouldn't you say?
Slater - "This is his highest score Thirrimane, and"
***Annoying Block ad on big screen***
Slater - "Yes, we're all looking forward to that"
**** off.
I just wish they'd stop dribbling shit and call the game. I can put up with their occasional idiocy and tangents about pokemon and lego if they actually stopped talking while the ball was being delivered and stopped feeling like every second of no sound needed to be filled with the first thing that comes to mind.
I think I noticed about 3 half-tons in the past 2 ODI's that have gone unnoticed for a good length of time due to them dribbling off-topic crap instead of watching the game. Except for Haddin's.
