Fair enough just saying what I heard, will ask my source for more info.
Watched panthers v tigers yesterday...my first Qafl game for the yr..game never reached any great heights other than period in the 2nd when the panthers opened the tigers up..all up probably 10-15 first choice players across both teams didn't play..the game itself though I see huge improvement in the Panthers..they have alot to work on to get to where there comfortable with the game style they are after..the Tigers are a plucky bunch..a mixture of experience and youth on show yesterday..they at times found it very easy to score but outside of a patch in the 3rd they were overrun, but they kept cracking in, taking the game on up until the final bell and with Davey and co to return will still feature deep into September

Apparently Palm Beach knocked back a clearance request for a retired player to play for a Division 4 club. There's that great culture at work again.

Does said player have outstanding fees owing? If so fair enough they haven't cleared.

damochandler I think you will find David Lake has been investigated by the league over two incidents-
1. Against Surfers when he and Jake Ryan scuffled in the race and in the after match
2. The brawl with him and bouncers at a pub
I think you will find Lakey himself is co operating with the league, I have no idea if he's to blame or not. But this is fact
