Good, I went this way.Cocky
Midfield depth at Melbourne means Newton is a couple under par games from being dropped/made sub.

KK, Ibbo for me... Albeit Ibbo being a risk.Racking my brain over mid price defenders..
Need to decide on 2 out of; KK, Pittard or Ibbo

All 3 are the main mid-price defenders I considered.
I also really reckon Savage will have a great year and should be considered.

I'm having this same dilemma, Cocky, Newton or Cripps?
I don't know much about Cocky but have read the hype, I'm just really concerned about # of games.
He's much cheaper than Cripps but Cripps should play week in week out, however won't score too highly..
I've got no idea.

I disagree, Jaksch was recruited to be played straight away in our backline and based on is preseason form, he is going to excel. Watson has been used up in the forward line during intra-club practice games and could be played down there, and White pinch hit a bit in the forwards too in our last game. I would play him ahead of White and Watson anyway.I'm not sure if Jaksch is in our best 22 yet. Probably isn't, at this stage. Competing with guys like White & Watson as the 3rd tall down back.
Juggle my team with the possible absence of Ablett.
Gray and Prestia
vs.
Fyfe and Goddard
Currently running Fyfe and Goddard, but have some concerns over how Goddard might go if he has to carry the team.
If Ablett doesn't play I like Gray & Prestia - Prestia handled a tag well last year when Ablett was out could be a top 10 mid in his absence.
Heppel was in my first team until I remembered the sagaThanks,
But i've kinda gone half way, I got Fyfe, dropped Goddard in the forwards for another rookie, and brought in Prestia.
Would swap out Prestia for Heppel if it wasn;t for this Essendon saga, alot of people dont seem to rate him but i reckon given the chance he would go huge this year.
Hoping another year shortens the gap between Prestia's highs and lows.
