Beat the 3 time premiership Hawks at the MCG.
Beat AFL's Frankenstein GWS at their home ground.
Beat the #1 team in the Home and Away. Sydney who had massive finals experience.

All from 7th on the ladder. I know they had lots of injuries which blurs their Home N Away ranking, but it's still never happened before.

Great win by the Dogs, pressured hard for four quarters, moved the well by hand, just had numbers through the middle at almost every contest, Swans forward line was dysfunctional, almost always out of position; Franklin, Tippett, McGlynn, Rohan, Papley, Heeney... no real impact, 8 of their 10 goals kicked by non-forwards.

I'm disappointed, but not overly unhappy. It's great to see a team break a long drought such as that. Sydney broke their's in 2005, and today it was the Bulldogs time. It caps off an unbelievable run, beating the grand finallists from last year in Perth, then beating the 3-time premiers, then beating the Giants in Sydney and topping it off by beating the minor premiers today. Well done to the Bulldogs, fully deserve to be the premiers.
