I'd love to see clurey run through the midfield as well.

Set him a challenge all pre-season. "How much do you want it Tom?"

Ken: We want players that can make an impact in 2017

List Managers: Trade away pick 9 so we miss Will Brodie who is going to slide to pick 9/10.
Brodie is the player who will have the most AFL impact in 2017, he will be similar to Wines.

Ken and the list managers are obviously not on the same page

Calm the farm. Will Brodie isn't going to slide to pick 9. If we hadn't traded pick 9, we would've been stuck with pick 9 and then forty-something, rather than 4 picks in the top 31.

Because a guy who might be any good and might make an impact in his first year might slide to Pick 9?

I think you'll find he'll make it through to 13:cool:

No way Brodie slides to 9. He was the player I wanted but never going to happen.

No we had 9,19,30 and 49 then we traded 9,19 and 49 for 14,17,31

We traded out 2 top 10 picks to get 2 picks in the 30's.

We could have done it by trading an Aaron Young or Jonas or anyone not worth a top 10 pick instead, but.

We traded pick 9 and 2017 first for 2 1st rounders in the teens and two top 30 picks actually. But don't let the truth get in the way of your story.

Yea, we traded out 2 top 10 picks to get 2 picks in the 30's.

We traded two top ten picks to get a choice of two of Berry, Witherden and Logue. At the back end a choice of two of maybe Gallucci, Simpkins, Cox and Parfitt. This part of the deal is good as it stands going forward we need to get back into the first round next year and I can see ways that could happen which if it does maybe we come out in front. I was sceptical of the deal at first but this year's choices have grown on me.

DraftMe's phantom draft was updated on 30/10. We get Daniel Venables, Jy Simpkin, Kobe Mutch and Jonty Scharenberg. Although he has the cows taking Villis and at the time there his condition had not been revealed on afl.com.au. Also, Kobe Mutch is a GWS nomination, and there are players some of us expected to target listed as going to other clubs later than our picks. Such as Berry to Brisbane at 17, Powell-Pepper to Brisbane at 22, Witherden to the Western Bulldogs at 19, Marshall to Essendon at 21 and Battle to the Tigers at 30.
Not that the names that have been given are not completely reasonable, it just shows how much things can change.

I tried to access the footyprophet and scpaige.com.au phantom drafts - nicholas coggins and paige cardona are professionals, but they don't appear to be updated past the 7th of October. Both of them have us still with the no 9 pick and taking Jack Scrimshaw. I hope we do get him but none of the BF phantom drafts view him as a slider, they are still sure he will go top 10. We might not even have got him.

Lol, there is no way Brodie slides to 9. He will be snapped up by essendon, Richmond or GC.

We're clearly his dump team. Ignore.

One of the guys gave us nothing but SA players. That bloke got no credibility either. Don't know what's happened to Paige Cardona as she had done the second edition of her phantom draft last year by 28 October.
