i wouldnt say they are great handballers, but they are underclear instruction to keep moving the ball and they players know that is what they are gonna do. Im pretty sure they exploited the holding the ball rule, and illegal disposal rule which was pretty much thrown out the window for the sake of keeping the game moving.great handballers under pressure is Bulldogs successful style

im refering to his playing style, not is attitudeIs that going around or just a theory?
I think we nice guy clauses in our contracts.
Think it was Rhys Mathieson who fell from a low teen pick to a back end Brisbane pick up based on perceived attitude problems. In this draft with more depth a player considered high maintenance could slide plenty.
Am I the only one who has zero interest in Battle or Kerr, even at 30/31? I can't see either of them translating their games to AFL level, and there's still going to be some interesting midfield prospects available at those picks.
I want Marshall, and if GWS lose picks I wouldn't mind a crack at Sproule, but other than those two I'd rather not get a KPF at all than waste an early pick on a dud just for the sake of filling a need.
Im not keen on English. reminds me a bit of blicavs (which isnt a bad thing) he just doesnt have a set position. He may develop into a ruckman or he may end up being a Westhoff jack of all trades and master of none. i think he'll probably be a good player eventually, just doesnt suit our needs right now when we're in our 'window'
The 205cm English doesn't have a set position? That's a weird comment to make. I would have thought his only position is ruck.
Exactly my thoughts as well. I was originally interested in Battle but there is no outstanding elements to his game. He may end up being a solid and versatile player but Id prefer to see how Palmer develops.
Marshall, although not as proven, has shown glimpses of exquisite skill and x factor. A late aussie rules starter and limited pre season suggests he has huge improvement to come. With limited forwards in the draft, im happy to chase a high risk high reward.
Don't think so.When it comes to Battle I honestly think that half the appeal for some people is the fact that he has a cool name.
If his name was Biddle instead there would be a lot more "meh, he's ok" sentiment.
My problem with SPP is he doesn't get enough of the ball. His highlights are fine but he gets about half the possessions of , say , Graham or Clark.im refering to his playing style, not is attitude
This wouldn't be a bad outcome draft day from what we've heard about Clarke and Atley.14- Marshall
17- Simpkin
30- Clarke
31- Atley
I'd also be keen to get Whimpress, Jarrod Lienart and Darcy Cameron as rookies
Don't think so.
I see a proven goal kicker with a terrific work ethic. I'm very confident that he could come in straight away and have an impact.
His lack of athleticism concerns me. But I think he could translate his game to a similar level to walker.

I reckon English will be the biggest slider from the top 10.Id like us to take English. But I can't see him sliding that far
A Kane with that kick wouldn't have been unmarked the way Kane was. Oppo clubs believed his possessions didn't hurt them so was allowed more freedom. The less loop and more penetrating being the thing. A Kane Cornes with that kick would have been incredible. You can see with that kicking style he is going to hit targets.
This aint Shane Warne Cricket m8![]()
I get the feeling it is for some, not everyone is doing a Macca-level analysis on this.
My own opinions are limited by the info I can get, although I try to inform myself through articles, videos and FigBoots (inc. the Podcast). But there would be many others who wouldn't do any of that to begin with.
I'm not criticising those who like him, moreso just making an observation on his prominence in discussions across the site.
or Buttle - which might lead to a draft day typo, causing us to select TuttleWhen it comes to Battle I honestly think that half the appeal for some people is the fact that he has a cool name.

Sorry. I was only cracking a gag re: Josh Biddle.
