Year 12 end of year exams is why.Why does the draft have to be so far away? Never made sense that it's generally after the preseason starts.
If we are going down the midfield path we may as well pick one at 6.Actually l think he could help, as we really only got Adams as a pure inside mid, as degoey is both and Greenwood l believe is only got 12months left. If he is good, that would free up Pendlebury steel and treloar to go more our side where there skill and pace( treloar) would be more of a benefit to us.

I think they pushed it out about 15 years ago because of VCE exams. Not sure how long ago but it was definitely because of VCE exams they are finished by Nov 24.
Depends how you look at it.Not sure it applies, none of us would put up with a partner that lets you down as often as a football club does![]()
Probably will as you think Coffield can play there in the future. Same with Fogarty. If we are going down the midfield path we may as well pick one at 6.
I don’t think they can afford to have to draft the same time as the men’s because their season starts in February.Looks bit Silly now with the AFLW Draft was Yesterday
That's a bingoI don’t think they can afford to have to draft the same time as the men’s because their season starts in February.
While I think there is a possibility they can play midfield, I don’t think they will ever be pure midfielders.Probably will as you think Coffield can play there in the future. Same with Fogarty.
Fair enough. The way l see the game today is no one can be a pure mid, have to be versatile as well play in different parts of the ground as needed. While I think there is a possibility they can play midfield, I don’t think they will ever be pure midfielders.

That is correct. That’s why I think Degoey was the right choice for us when we took him because he is a forward weapon for us too.Fair enough. The way l see the game today is no one can be a pure mid, have to be versatile as well play in different parts of the ground as needed.
That’s why kids like Coffield, Fogarty and balta appeal to me more than others.
I think we’ll survive.Good way to make people with legitimate knowledge not want to share it on the Collingwood board
Don't disagree. Fogarty looks the part.I’ve always leaned towards Coffield or Balta (albeit limited highlights only) since today’s appalling effort from our overpaid recruiting team, I’m now all for a big body mobile versatile tall.
