I'll be silencing protesting in the lockerroom

I think we should just play the Australian National Anthem and throw everyone off. :)

Jags @ Lambs one if the more interestings ones this week.

Drama fuelled Panthers vs Eagles should be good.

Potentially. Who the **** knows what Jags will do? They lost to the Jets last week then destroyed the Steelers this week....

Yeah but there aint much else going on this week looking at it right now.

Roger Goodell sends letter to NFL teams, wants players to stand during anthem

The NFL has developed a plan to "move past" its ongoing debate about player protests during the national anthem and could enact it next week, commissioner Roger Goodell wrote Tuesday in a letter to all 32 teams.

Goodell made it clear in the letter, obtained by ESPN's Adam Schefter, that he wants players to stand during the anthem. He did not provide specifics on how he intends to ensure it, but he wrote that it would "include such elements as an in-season platform to promote the work of our players on these core issues."

Of course he does

Other than the Lions v Saints game, the Packers v Vikings probably holds the most interest for me. Divisional game, Packers great offence vs the Vikings D should be good. Can the Jets pull off an upset and beat the Pats. Unlikely, but **** I hope so. Hope the Chiefs ream the Steelers too.

Probably because they're both big media markets and there's no other game that screams it needs to be in prime time
They would still get those viewers in the 4pm window. with it being a shit game they will lose viewers in other markets that would of watched if it was a quality match up.

Shit like this is why ratings are down, people are sick of shit games with the same teams all the time.

Thursday Night Football! Big occasion, would be good to nab a win. Should be a good contest I think.

Heard a stat: - Wentz with Lane Johnson in the line up = 9-2, without Lane Johnson = 2-8 .... Massive difference, Johnson currently in concussion protocol and more likely than not to sit out on a short week this week according to Peterson.

Big V has looked like a different player this year compared to the train-wreck he was last

The Vikings have been frisky against the Packers over the last two seasons and I don't see any reason to believe they can't compete at home against Green Bay.

Recently the focus of the Vikings defence has been to try to contain Rodgers in the pocket so he doesn't have the opportunity to extend plays and I'm sure there will be a repeat of that this week.

I'd also expect the Vikings to work Floyd more into the game (he was only targeted once against the Bears) especially if Case Keenum starts as Keenan and Floyd both worked 2nd team reps during training camp.

What a joke this league is.

So much garbage play Smith is being hailed as a potential MVP.

Flip a coin all games.
Credit where credit is due for Smith, he's been reborn this year and has been far from a game manager.

The Chiefs are undefeated, Smith leads the league in yards per attempt, has 11 TDs and no turnovers (ints or fumbles) so why not put him in the MVP mix?

Time to start thinking about flexing MNF. Surely there were more appealing matchups this week for ESPN when the schedule was drawn up.

In a quirk of the schedule probably only of interest to me, the 49ers embark on a 5 game run against teams in the old NFC East : Redskins-Cowboys-Eagles-Cardinals-Giants
