I don't think we'd get their 2017 2nd round pick anyway. Cameron isn't worth that much. He's worth a mid-late 2nd rounder, not first pick in the 2nd round.

Well ... it's a strange comparison of players but ...

Ryder is the best ruck in the league.
Betts is the best small forward.

Dixon is goin ok this year - Jenkins has a better goal per game average but I'd say they are pretty close to each other in terms of ratings ... probably just give it to Dixon.

Polec and Lynch are comparable in many ways - very much barometers for each team. Slightly in Lynch's favour.

Add in a small forward for Power and Jacobs for Adelaide and the comparison makes more sense, but overall it's a very close thing.

I think you've used the word 'elite' too loosely here. If any club boasted one third of their best eighteen as elite it's doubtful they'd be in their current position.

Isn't that illegal under current AFL rules? Or is it that no "offer" can be made while a player is under contract?

Yes if he was uncontracted, but being contracted he worth a little bit more, Defiantly not a first, but a Brisbane 2nd would be the mark for a best 22 contracted player.

Im confident we wont be trading Cameron for a second rounder. Why would we? If he is desperate to go Brisbane will pay up or wait another year.
