Has there ever been a bigger disappointment in failure to develop as Jake Neade?

In 2013 looked like he had all the tools to be a serious player. Has only gone backwards since.

Think we forget the AFL drug testing is only " Testing is out of competition" If any AFL player tested Positive for any drugs including recreational drugs during the Competition which is basically the AFL season then ASADA are responsible for issues the penalty.

Seems an odd move to compare him to Betts when according to Kornes Wingard is the better small forward anyway.

Yeah, it's amazing how Wingard has won more AA's than Eddie in the last 3 years!

Goals scored are pretty close too. Eddie with 190 in the last 3 years from 69 games (2.75 goals per game). Wingard with 115 from 59 games (1.85 goals per game).

Who would have thought back in 2014 that Port would fall back to being the punchline to a joke so quickly.

After telling us all how great they were and industry leaders in everything AFL. How innovative they were on and off field and how they have set their club up for a prolonged period of success.

Since then........they got what they deserved.


They pumped up the tyres beyond the recommended psi and steered the bike straight through a prickle bush.

My theory is that its a transient city. A lot of people will move to gold coast to work sjot term or for the party atmosphere but they lack a lot of core long term residents that will be born and bred supporters.

2mins on the clock remaining down by 4 pts in the prelim 2014 Hawks v Port. Instead of kicking the ball deep into Power I50, Polec goes sideways.

What could have been? Some happy memories to reflect on before our prelim next week.
