It's so their fathers know which son is theirs. It gets confusing at times.Their cheer squad actually have their own names on the back of their jackets? How sad is that!

Exactly. It's a ****ing joke this fawning over a run of the mill coach. I hope he stays with Port forever.Part of the Port Power Propoganda Machine making it look like Hinkley is in demand before they resign him.

Port have seven Top 10 picks on their list (+Dixon who was a zone selection), they should be pushing for a flag now not struggling to beat a top 8 side.
Once Wobbie & Paddy retire they will have Lobbe & Neade to replace them.

Has there ever been a bigger disappointment in failure to develop as Jake Neade?
In 2013 looked like he had all the tools to be a serious player. Has only gone backwards since.

Lol
yeah I realise that, I was aiming more at the AFL's uncanny ability to sweep recreational drug issues under the carpetDepends if he is in control of his problem... because if he isn't, sadly he may become the next Yarran.
Mark neeld says hiI am not sure which would be better. This dragging out and Port left to pick up the pieces and attempt to find a replacement coach, or Ken staying. Is it possible that they could do worse than Ken ??
Does it hurt to mix up the bloodlines occasionally? It's so their fathers know which son is theirs. It gets confusing at times.
Jesus... how dumb are they, seriously?Dittmar on Triple M this morning saying Gold Coast have offered Hinkley a 5 year $3M deal and he's more likely to take it than not.
Think we forget the AFL drug testing is only " Testing is out of competition" If any AFL player tested Positive for any drugs including recreational drugs during the Competition which is basically the AFL season then ASADA are responsible for issues the penalty.yeah I realise that, I was aiming more at the AFL's uncanny ability to sweep recreational drug issues under the carpet
Even if gc want hinkley and he wants them, he's contracted. No way port would let him go.
So the Gold Coast are interested in talking to Hinkley and the Port board are more worried it might force their club to keep him rather than about losing him.
Haven't things changed...

Probably a good way out for Port, I'm sure they'd find a way for the AFL to compensate them as well.
Seems an odd move to compare him to Betts when according to Kornes Wingard is the better small forward anyway.

Who would have thought back in 2014 that Port would fall back to being the punchline to a joke so quickly. So the Gold Coast are interested in talking to Hinkley and the Port board are more worried it might force their club to keep him rather than about losing him.

..and the Head Sycophant of Ken and the Kooladers, Rucci, asking us "don't we wish we were more like them ?"Who would have thought back in 2014 that Port would fall back to being the punchline to a joke so quickly.
After telling us all how great they were and industry leaders in everything AFL. How innovative they were on and off field and how they have set their club up for a prolonged period of success.
Since then........they got what they deserved.
They pumped up the tyres beyond the recommended psi and steered the bike straight through a prickle bush.

Yeah, it's amazing how Wingard has won more AA's than Eddie in the last 3 years!
Goals scored are pretty close too. Eddie with 190 in the last 3 years from 69 games (2.75 goals per game). Wingard with 115 from 59 games (1.85 goals per game).

Very little really for the discussion it caused. Just said that we would have the best midfield in the comp.
My theory is that its a transient city. A lot of people will move to gold coast to work sjot term or for the party atmosphere but they lack a lot of core long term residents that will be born and bred supporters.
Man those shirts are hilarious a few years later, the piss take ones Norwood did after the 14 GF win were awesome.

That was my point, I didn't think it was a bold statement by any means. I did miss the so called "deleted" post though, so don't know what I missed. We finished top, we have Sloane, Crouch & Crouch... we're almost there already
