Geelong are more cooked than you think, and we would maul the Eagles at the G.

Holy shit can you imagine playing the Eagles in Melbourne for a grand final.

I think we'd set a record for the shortest odds ever going into a grand final.

West Coast are utterly unable to win in Melbourne.

I think we would be around $1.30 late money would come for the Eagles imo given their insignificant home and away win over us.

I'd put so much money on us on the line in that scenario. Basically my entire bank would go onto that bet and betting system be damned.

How does Either of these results work against us?

For starters, we would prefer the Cats over the Swans.

To win a flag, you need to beat the best.

Way too much pointless worrying over who the next opponent is.
You have followed the Crows before this season haven't you? :D Teams that have been shite suddenly remember how to play for one game, we lose the unlosable etc... AND I don't want the emotion of Dangerfield to come into next week's game. I want him out. Out I say !!

And finally, bulldust to win the flag you have to beat the best. We don't play a round-robin finals series ... you can just as easily win the flag by avoiding the best.

Ballsy and not for the faint hearted.

I would want a dry day as my only caveat. With Tex and Talia as the bookened missing from that game its massive.

Biggest bet I ever had was our 2012 game against Freo. Threw everything at the Crows. You can imagine how much I shitted myself for the first half.

Then Tex went crazy.

Nah we've played our best football in the rain.

Kennedy is also their only path to goal and doesn't play the wet well.

If we had heavy rain I'd be taking out loans to bet on us too.

He only kicked one when they beat us didn’t he?

Well that's a relief

His manager Peter Blucher :D :p

They beat us when we had literally nothing to play for, resting 3 of our most important players and the players that were out there trying to avoid injury.

Hi guys, it's Lauren Wood here at the MCG and the crowd is slowly making its way in. Probably grabbing a bite where it's warm, if they're smart. If you missed the news, Tom Lonergan is OUT for the Cats, so Geelong will be wanting to make sure it wins tonight to ensure he gets another AFL game. We understand food poisoning is to blame, but what does this mean for those in the hoops? Well, it likely means Harry Taylor will have to go to Buddy. What are your thoughts?

Interesting that food poisoning is to blame. Begs the question, just how bad was the food and if others are affected?

Already noise about Richmond having to potentially wear their clash strip in the Grand Final. Talk about getting ahead of yourselves.
I think the crows would be happy to wear their away strip in a grand final against Richmond, if Richmond were will
To give up their home ground advantage! Talk about whingers!

Must have eaten something at the G.
Wonder if harry will give some food to him at the end of the game.

I just hope that Geelong win so that Jenkins can find out what sort of food gave him poisoning and throw it at them next week.

****ing karma as far as I'm concerned.

Richmond's moronic argument is that its their home ground and they shouldnt have to wear an away strip. :drunk:

Would have been karma if harry came down with it.

If Kern says he wants to go to GC, there is nothing the paer can do about it

They'll ask and get compensation but AFL coaching is too big an ask, too difficult, to hold someone who doesn't want to be there

All clubs know this

Kern can't lose

What's the point of a contract?
Can he just leave and say don't worry about paying me or do port still have to sign him off?

They could hold him and pay him gardening leave to sit out; but they won't

If he walks they could sue him for compensation (and win) but GCS will sort that out

If he wants to leave, they try to force him stay it's an impossible situation. Every loss will be blamed on a coach who isn't 100%

Piñata's would cop less of a flogging than they would on a weekly basis

All based on the hypothetical he wants to leave, but if he does Port can't really do much about it. Not really
