This guy is one of the best identifiers and developers of young talent in the entire AFL Industry.

Massive get by the WAFL.

However now that he is over here in Perth, West Coast should leave no stone unturned to poach him once he has completed his contractual commitments with his current WAFL position.

Ablett is one of the best and brightest up and coming young executive personnel to enter the AFL , for some time.

Make no mistake his stocks are rising fast.

If I was in a position of Power within the West Coast Eagles I would be making his signature the NUMBER 1 priority in any off field appointments and strategic planning going forward.

Maybe that is his plan? Nizzy is surely leaving in a few years.

Why do dudes write nohomo when its clear they are just dying to chow down on some chode
eyes are one of those body parts that aren't masculine or feminine. All im saying is that he has nice eyes and those eyes would still look nice on a girl.

I don't really rate Angus Bray that much especially with the concussion risks. Footskills aren't the best and I hope we don't overpay given he's fringe at Melbourne now.

Hey guys I'm new to big footy but just wanted to give you my two cents on what the eagles need. Now I know this is old news but midfield speed is a must in 2018, in my opinion there's only one player that could come back to the eagles and fit in nicely and that's my boy now pharmacist Tommy Swift. Not only was he quick he can help us give our other players a little extra kick.
Edwards would be better

Just had a read of the Sunday times this morning (I know, right) and the top 10 predictions for 2018.

Number 1 was relating to the Gov’s contract, and how we’ll need to match a bid of $1m per season to keep him.

It really got me thinking about players and their values in the game, and putting that alongside premiership windows.

IMO, we are in rebuild. We will take a couple to a few years to get back to top 6, and then maybe a couple more to be top 4. In that time, JK is gone, Nic Nat is older, and McGovern will possibly be busted and broken.

This is my time where I say - let’s let him go. (I know, right).

We’ll clearly get a first rounder for him, something which we don’t have currently. We also may let gaff go, which should also net a first rounder.

With that in mind, planning for 4 years time, with 2 midfield first rounders from next years ‘super draft’, our two KPP from this latest draft, and our established midfield including venables, shuey, duggan et al - I feel this is a better way to balance the books and trade in a couple of WA expats who want to play at the new stadium once they see how good it is

Yeahhhhh-Nah

Worst decision ever. He's probably our second most valuable player (behind Nic Nat) and the most influential backman in the game. The draft is still a futures market that's based on potential. We should always be trying to win now and in the future.

Thats crazy talk letting Gov go as a restricted FA. If he really wants out you match and get a 1st rounder plus either a decent youngster or another pick being a 2nd.

But there is no indication he wants out so we keep him and happy days.
