Correct. He knew he had done the wrong thing & wanted to demonstrate there was no malice, but he had no way of knowing if Fisher had suffered a whiplash, was concussed etc. The AFL needs to make it known that players, whether teammates or opponents, should not be moving injured players.
This is so true, AFL needs to educate players. This is something in the NRL you can see this has been explained to the players, when there is a big hit and some one is hurt, no one touches them. Many times I have seen opposition players remain with the injured player and call for medics.
 
First I’ve heard of the incident. Anyone know what he did?
Told Anderson he has s**t hair. Ump thought that was a bit rough.
