Cripps has been comfortably better than Oliver and at this stage would get a spot on the field

you realise that isnt actually the brownlow, right?http://www.afl.com.au/brownlow-medal/predictor - keep laughing all you like
Surely taking the piss.
I know footy fans have short memories but turn it up champs, both were outstanding last year. Only 1 ruck will make itHas to be.
There is a world of difference between having a pair of ruckmen in the top 25 players in the AFL with having a pair of ruckmen in the top 5 players in the AFL.
Rubbish, those 2 last year were no where near the levels of Gawn Grundy this year.No way they will have 2 rucks. Didn’t have 2 last year when Ryder and Kreuzer were both equally dominating games, won’t have it this year

I wouldn't have had them anywhere near top 22. You can have a great year, and not be all Australian worthy.Rubbish, those 2 last year were no where near the levels of Gawn Grundy this year.

Take off the rose coloured glasses. Hardly anything between them with Cripps slightly higher in contested possessions (mainly due to fees for +24 than Oliver) and clearances, while Oliver leading in metres gained, de%, tackles, i50 and score involvements.Cripps has been comfortably better than Oliver and at this stage would get a spot on the field
Bit hypocritical, take off the rose coloured glasses Shooter, Cripps clearly has been betterA

Combined comfortably, and individually against Nic Nat also comfortably. This is part of the problem as well. Do either Gawn or Grundy break even against West Coasts ruck department?

Side looks pretty good.
Jimmy Webster would be close I’d have him instead of Stewart.
Gibbs has fallen off quite a lot and wouldn’t be in the side currently.
Tarrent has been ok but a long way from AA, not sure who’d I put in as CHB though.
Definitely 2 ruckman in as both would be too 5 players in the Como currently.
I strongly doubt a player from a 1-9 bottom side would be 2nd in the Brownlow right now.
Not at all, I’ve had *Tarrant in my ultimate footy team but had to trade him out due to lack of numbers over the last 4-6 weeks.Tarrant* has been outstanding. Based on your recent posts I’m assuming you mostly only watch Melbourne games?

LOL - perhaps watch games instead of watching stats you nerd.A

Had a really good 1st month with excellent games against the hawks and saints.Yeah, he’s certainly not a high fantasy numbers player. What he does do is stop his opponent every week - has only had a few goals kicked on him all year - marshals the defence, gets to multiple contests to help out and gets up the ground when required. I would hope that doing an outstanding job as a KPD is what the AA selectors will look for, not fantasy numbers.
Pal I’d have more knowledge about the game in my little finger than your biased fat head. Think watching that rabble of a side has eroded some brain cells.LOL - perhaps watch games instead of watching stats you nerd.

This is the all Australian team not all Australian combinations.
I would have thoughts score involvements and disposal efficiency is a fairly good indicator of impact on games not to mention the actual performance of the teams overall, to say Cripps impacts games more is just plain wrong.Cripps has been a Top 5 league player, Oliver would be in the Top 10-15
Completely smashing him in the H2H poll on the polls board too btw -
I like Oliver but he doesn’t have the same impact on a game Cripps does.
This isn't a Cripps vs Oliver thread so not sure why every Carlton fan needs to compare Cripps to Oliver for who belongs in the side, pretty sure both should be in there. I'm merely pointing out that there is nothing between them performance wise this year.

And let's drag this discussion to the gutter by involving bigfooty polls not really an accurate indicator.

Lol youre the one trying to claim Oliver is all that.
Stop quoting numbers you nerd and look at how they influence contests.
I'll actually stay out of the Oliver stuff. Haven't watched him enough but I do know he's very tall and good at handballing.
He is all that, as good if not better than your Messiah and 3 years younger plus actually helps his team win the odd game...Lol youre the one trying to claim Oliver is all that.

LOL no one but Melbourne supporters agrees with you mate. Oliver may get called up to the big boys table in the future, for now he's still an apprentice. He is all that, as good if not better than your Messiah and 3 years younger plus actually helps his team win the odd game...
'Nerd' that's cute, 1992 called and want their insult back
