Ha dunno, but I will say with our list balance up shit creek, we cannot keep Pruess as a back up, we've 17 defenders on our list, a hand full of forwards and the rucks consist of Goldy, Preuss, Daw and Xerri.

Ha dunno, but I will say with our list balance up shit creek, we cannot keep Pruess as a back up, we've 17 defenders on our list, a hand full of forwards and the rucks consist of Goldy, Preuss, Daw and Xerri.

Cockatoo would kick more goals in 3 games than Turner does in a whole season, and has unexplored midfield potential. Admittedly those 3 games might be all he plays, but theres simply no point us having Preussy on our list if he isn't getting a game for 4 years. Would much rather take the risk on Cockatoo who addresses a genuine need and has elite talent in an area that we are shallow, even if it is a gamble. I reckon a straight swap is pretty fair for both parties, and is a genuine win-win.

If we're trading Preuss for anything (which I hope we're not, why would we trade our next ruck when our current one is 30?) I hope it's for a better player than Cockatoo. Even picks would be better in my opinion.
