Well he's played about 35% midfield 65% forward, yet is averaging 2 goals a game.

Kicked 3 goals or more 5 times already this season, on track for a 40 goal season as a Mid/Fwd...

Out of all small/medium forwards, goal leaderboard is:

1. Breust-45
2. Hoskin-Elliot-37
3. Caddy-35
4. Thomas-32
5. Gresham-32

By the way he'd be the #1 goal scorer at Adelaide lmao

Aaron young did the same thing and we got a 4th round pick for him.

No. Thomas isn't worth a top 12 pick. Good player, but not that good. I just realised that I misread your first proposal in that it was a 2019 2nd. No way. I dont think even a 2019 1st gets that deal over the line. I understand Moore has a huge ceiling, which is why I think he works. I think he could be the type of player that would be worth GCS while. A Thomas like player is much easier to come by. I think if you can convince Moore to go to the Gold Coast then you will be able to win that deal because half of the battle for GC is getting players willing to go there. I think if a club with pick 3 is driving a hard bargain, that Moore + Thomas + pick ~16 gets that over the line. But to a team desperately trying to attract players, just Moore + Thomas alone gets you pretty close.
I'm quite certain a club that has watched Thomas will offer a good first rounder, so agree to disagree there.

Regardless, do you really think we would take Moore + Thomas + pick ~16 for Lynch? That's not even a feasible option. We lose our best CHB, our 2nd best forward, and a 1st rounder for an injury prone KPF who can't even stay on the park.

Fair enough you don't rate him if you haven't watched him.

He's been extraordinary this year, he gets pretty much all his goals from snaps, crumbs, running into forward 50 etc... He barely gets any free goals or easy set shots. He works hard for all his goals and gets them through creativity and accuracy.

He's also averaging 2nd most disposals out of the top 15 goal kickers, 0.4 per game behind gunston. We've given him minimal support, he wins his opportunities by himself

I think he was rating him pretty highly. I think you are under-valuing top end draft picks. He is a good player. But I am not giving up pick 12 for him.

Calm down. Your best CHB? How many games has he played there?

Keiran Collins (Western Bulldogs) for Brayden Sier (Collingwood).

Collins helps Collingwoods stocks down back, and Sier adds to the Bulldogs engine room following Wallis' departure.

I'm hoping we get PP #19 and straight swap for Lloyd...essentially Lloyd for free.

I think Sydney would take it, they seem like reasonable trade partners. They gave up Mitchell for pick 14.
Do you really believe you deserve a PP? Carlton had 9 top 10 drafted players playing for them on the weekend

I'd do that - Sier trained with us his draft year too so we've seen him up close.

No sirree; Sier has come from miles back to dominate at VFL level most weeks. He’s a very safe bet to be serviceable at worst for Collingwood.

North Melbourne must feel like Tottenham supporters

We went into this trade period wanting Gareth Bale (like North wanted Josh Kelly/Dustin Martin), mid window we calmed our expectations for a Pulisic or Grealish (Jordan DeGoey) and are now left to go after the scraps (Darcy Moore).

Adelaide: 8,13,19 --> 3,26
Gold Coast: 3,18 --> 1
Carlton: 1,26 --> 8,13,18,19
Can't see Adelaide doing that. That's a lot to give up to NOT get Lukosius.

Gold Coast: 3,18 --> 1
Carlton: 1,26 --> 8,13,18,19

If Adelaide want Lukosius so bad why would they trade all that for no guarantee of getting him.

So Adelaide trade all that and Gold Coast take him with Pick 1

Liam Jones + 25 —> Newman + 28

Not sure why we'd be after Jones, we'd be looking at AA and Melican next year. Don't really see the point.

For the record I think Newman (and McVeigh) will be off to the Gold Coast in a package deal that has been on the cards for a while. Won't be a complicated trade really.

The proposed deal I mentioned is highly unlikely in the first place.

Thomas is worth a top 12 pick by himself, Moore is our future CHB, 2018 in 1st draft. That's about 2-3 times more than how much Im willing to pay for Lynch

If Josh Thomas is worth a top 12 pick then West Coast and Freo better find 2 top 10 picks for Tim Kelly - LMAO
