You can check the previous thread. Basically we create teams, then go through a draft of every AFL player. Then we vote on who has the best team, and at the end of the 2020 season there's also a numerical winner based on statsSounds exciting - what is it all about?

Thanks Scorpus ... so the points scoring system works how and do you have to pick for positions or just pick best available ?You can find it here:

Congrats to Maggsy for winning last years comp. Draft order this year will be based on position you finished last year: 1) adelaidecrows 2) Mr MysteryGuest 3) deaneus 4) Drugs Are Bad Mackay? 5) Hank93 6) Kristof 7) roo2macca 8) FAITH 9) Daniel1812 10) Danger in Texas 11) 1990crow 12)...www.bigfooty.com
Rules will be very similar. We'll use a snake draft, 2 hours per pick during active hours, the idea is to fill up a squad with the best players. Each team will take 30 picks.
There will be no pick or player trading this year. It's too complicated to manage and for others to follow. However there will be an opportunity to swap your draft position with another player if you wish before the draft begins

Legend , thanks bud !!As a points example. Patrick Dangerfield was the highest scoring player last year (tied with Nat Fyfe)
He scored points as follows:
Games played: 24 (24 points)
Brownlow: 2nd place (15 points)
All Australian: Team (15 points)
Coleman: DNP (0 points)
Club B&F: 1st place (10 points)
AFL Player Ratings: 1st at Geelong (10 points)
AFLCA Coaches Award: 2nd place (9 points)
Norm Smith: DNP (0 points)
22under22: DNP (0 points)
Premiership Player: DNP (0 points)
Total: 83 points
Legend , thanks bud !!
This is generally the strategy people take:
Early rounds: draft players you think will be All Australian
Mid rounds: draft players you think will be top 10 at their club's B&F
Late rounds: draft players you think are best 22 at their club
Things that don't work well: drafting first year players outside the very top picks, drafting players who will miss a portion of the 2020 season with injury
