I'm not sure an inside mid suits their needs given they have Crouch, Crouch, Sloane, Gibbs.
When you look at that list then they needed him last year. Crouch will be out the door. Sloane on last legs and Gibbs will have the alarm set to SANFL time.

They will take at least one mid.

Crows will take gould knowing our luck.
I'd be happy then with Worrell. There will be gun midfielders every year. Another Robertson. Another Bianco. Rather put the development into Worrell or Jones or just trade the thing back to next year.

Disappointed that Williams is gone. He is classic Geelong. His best is absolutely elite. He would need the right disciplined environment like Stevie J as well. We have nothing in our fwd line that looks like him. Can catch it and kick freaky goals. Looks unlikely he makes it to 26. Only chance would be if Port took a tall. Strange draft from them. Bergman, Gorgiadies and Williams are all medium lead up mercurial forwards with not great output. Rarely see 3 of those taken under 25 by one club

Its amazing how people can foresee exactly what someone will become.

You really just have zero ******* clue.

As do i.

So let them develop and see what grow sin 3 years time.

Go Catters
So we are all of sudden no longer allowed to make player comparisons?
God forbid, lol.
I form my judgement based on what I can see, what I read, and other data. He doesn't look fast, and he doesn't look overly clean with footy, good endurance and body, and apparently some leadership qualities.
He has a good jawline and body, that might excite other fans ;)
Don't worry, I'll still be supporting him, he has the hoops now.
Hope to be proven wrong on the player comparison!!!!

Thats the key ... we all have opinions..its an opinion website but once here I hope most give all a chance.. I know not all will but thats another story. You cant have them all and a lot of the ones we don't have will fail as well. If we have a win from 3 out of 4 picks ie 100 games plus then its been a good draft from sw. If we pick up players that quickly become regulars then even better.

Reckon it's a monty for Elijah Taylor at 28 and probably best available at 39. It's a high risk high reward draft. Wouldn't mind a mid-sized forward or winger. Let's see how the cookies crumble.

If we're worried about Robbo as a flight risk there's no way we take Taylor. The kid might not even get on the plane here.

I reckon the issue with Robertson is more he is viewed as the Butcher of Baghdad than flight risk.

Isn't Taylor's mother a Narkle??? Sparkle come on down.
