With Bullies losing to the Saints we are effectively 2 games clear despite being in poor form.

Looks like we will stumble into finals... for a week.

Ehh I'm not so sure though. We are no certainties v Carlton and still have west coast and the dogs away plus Collingwood which is likely 3 losses. Port on the other hand have a pretty cruisey run home.

Port Power has GWS (home), Essendon (away), Sydney (home), North (away) and Fremantle (home). So similar to us 2 games you think you should win, 2 games starting as underdogs and 1 50/50. If we beat Carlton and Saints (home) as expected, then we will play finals.

Hawks might have something to say about that ... they play North and if they have a 150pt to 50pt game against GC right now, their % would get close to ours.

'Fraid I could never figure it. Maybe herd mentality ? The AFL knew what he as worth and head hunted him into help save the Lions.
Just wish we could get some largish major quality changes that turn the club around and set us on the upward path, but the opposite seems to be our slow spiral to nepotistic nowhere.

Melbourne... you don’t know what you’re gonna get from the dees
adelaide at AO.. they’ll beat us if they play against us like they played today, especially at AO where we can’t seem to win..
Dockers in melbourne.. dockers are s**t
Carlton
Swans in Sydney... swans are fragile at home too..

Interesting the Saints weren’t playing fast football at the start of the year and won their 4/5 games in the first 7 rounds then went to a fast attacking game and proceeded to lose most of them which is probably more to do with skill level.

Perhaps we are the same - can’t execute. Well I know 4 of our defenders can’t execute well.

Good teams are now just bursting through the dour set ups of the more.defensive teams. Take a chance and move the ball forward.
