What was that though? If I consumed TV news I would be loving the hypocrisy about the drug cheat Chinese swimmer compared to Essendon
The swimmer got 3 months the Essendon players got a year ban?

Hutchy ruins everything. Those responsible for the EJ charity game have really lost it now - Ted Whitten ‘would be turning in his grave’ over changes to Legends game (paywalled)
A former Melbourne high-flier has taken to social media to vent his anger at the decision to change the format of the EJ Legends game, suggesting the Footscray great would be horrified. A format change for the EJ Whitten Game hasn’t exactly been embraced. The Score revealed last week this year’s charity game will be played on a rugby oval at AAMI Park under AFLX rules.
Former Melbourne high flyer Shaun Smith vented his anger at the decision on Facebook, suggesting the former Footscray legend would be horrified.
“As you know I’ve been involved in this game for 14 to 15 years and loved raising funds for the EJ Whitten foundation,” Smith wrote.
“It no longer represents the spirit of the great man EJ Whitten. This year will be an AFLX format with recently retired players, played on a rugby oval at AAMI Park. What a disgrace AFL!!!!
“EJ would be turning in his grave, and apparently they are giving players incentives to play… Really… who needs incentives to play for a charity game?????”
CrocMedia boss Craig Hutchison recently joined the EJ Whitten Foundation as a director with his company taking over the marketing and promotion of the game from Craig Kelly’s TLA management group.

It's a disaster, who told them!Have the Power suddenly realised Charlie Dixon and Motlop are spuds?
This is the thing that no one in the media dare discuss. While there’s a media circle jerk about an out of form Tex Walker there’s a perennial dud in Dixon that has done half of what Walker has done while being 7cm taller, 5kg bigger and only 5 months younger. The comparison is stark. It's a disaster, who told them!

I'm worried they will now improve... but then Ryder is a worse forward.Have the Power suddenly realised Charlie Dixon and Motlop are spuds?

You just have to look at the goal kickers for Adelaide and Port to see the glaring story that should be looked at.JJ compares well too!
For all the crap given to JJ, he was a bargain trade, has been on less money & had far greater output.
So what.Dixon got dropped this week though
You just have to look at the goal kickers for Adelaide and Port to see the glaring story that should be looked at.
Betts- 32 goals, 11th highest
Walker- 29 goals, 16th
Jenkins- 21 goals, 34th
Rozee- 20 goals, 36th
S Gray- 18 goals, 51st
Murphy- 16 goals, 60th.
Yet the story and diatribe is all about Walker and Betts........f*** me!
luckily Sturt don't play port this week - bloody Dixon was the difference at Alberton earlier this year against the best SANFL level defenders in Evans and Stephens in the stateSo what.
Walker probably does deserve to be dropped but that doesn’t take away from my point of the heat Walker cops in the media as compared to Dixon.
Added to that Dixon is continually talked up and continually offers nothing.
They've replaced Motlop with a defender in Garner and Dixon with another proven flop tall forward in Ryder.I'm worried they will now improve... but then Ryder is a worse forward.
Motlop out helps them though as a passenger.
Stands out like a sore thumb doesn’t it!In a team that has Westhoff, Dixon, S Gray and R Gray, their leading goal kicker is a first year player who has 20 goals in the season. That's incredible.
Yep. Wines and Sutcliffe were also playing for Port Power Reserves that day.luckily Sturt don't play port this week - bloody Dixon was the difference at Alberton earlier this year against the best SANFL level defenders in Evans and Stephens in the state
Glenelg will winYep. Wines and Sutcliffe were also playing for Port Power Reserves that day.
It’s a bit like what Glenelg will face with Adelaide this week.
delivery for McGovern?I said it tongue in cheek. I am with you, let them be able to get out and enjoy life without being interrupted.
Fizzy drinks and chocolates though, if that is an AFL level diet, I am in!
I’ve picked Glenelg but I’m not convincedGlenelg will win
They're in good form, have a great system and a good coach.I’ve picked Glenelg but I’m not convinced
