Beats losing that’s for sure. The most impressive thing Ratts has managed in his short time is scoring.. we’re finally offence around the ground. We’re taking the game on, rather than constantly zoning defensively.

I’d be more than happy to sign him long term. The players seem to like him and he should have a free kick next year with King & Bytel effectively new recuitsbas well.

From his younger years, was a hard running, quick and tough half forward, sometimes midfield footballer. Has closing speed a lot like Tippa with natural aggression towards the football. Keen to see how that translates into senior footy. Fitness shouldn’t be an issue, neither should commitment.

His size was always the question, but honestly, if he modelled himself on the Tippa, Brent Harvey mix I can’t see why he won’t make it.
