Mods are unpaid volunteers volunteering their time to keep this place running smoothly. Try to respect that. Yeah, we dont always get things right, but most here are just trying to do whats best for everyone. Its impossible for mods to make everyone happy, and for every decision a mod makes, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.

Mod bashing never solves anything and it is simply disrespectful to those who take the time to volunteer for this place.

That is two reasons.

And we are already ahead of them for flags. We have 14 in our rich history. They have a mere 13 in their sorry history, and not one of them is legitimate. There is a powerful movement afoot to have all of their flags overturned on the basis they should never have been admitted to the VFL in 1925 because they had never done anything at all to deserve their promotion to VFL ranks. In fact they should not have even been in the VFA up until then as they had not even won a minor suburban league flag. The Richmond Central Snakes, operating out of the Kevin Bartlett Reserve have done more to warrant ascension to the VFL/AFL than Hawthorn ever did, with their sensational 1989 and 1994 Premierships. The Snakes also have a standalone reserves team where Hawthorn does not.

It is also arguable that Richmond are the legitimate 1924 Premiers after trouncing Essendon in the ultimate match of the finals series by 20 points only to see the title awarded to the Bombers in one of the most farcical outcomes imaginable.

So do not imagine for one moment my friend that the Hawks have more premierships than Richmond, it is simply not true.
