I agree with that sentiment. Friends of mine recently purchased the 2021 Collingwood calendar for their daughter. January and October are looking a bit awkward now.
Oops to the North calendar.

Sure to be a few holes in the * and GWS ones too.

Haha. It's a good thing that I'm not as diligent in purchasing Christmas gifts.

Walsh came across as a blithering idiot, which is surprising for such a smart and experienced operator.

Stephen never denied they had conversations on where he needed to improve and get better. Walsh never addressed the point of contention, which was that he was never told at any stage that he would be put up for trade and actually had to ring Bucks to find out what was happening.

All he actually did was reaffirm what Stephenson said, not refute it.
Maybe Walsh ain’t the smartest carrot in the fruit bowl.

But he did get bent over by *?

Wouldn't he make a stronger point dealing on Hately who is going to get where he wants anyway and block the Caldwell deal knowing another club will intercept him in the PSD?

are you saying we don't need 2, just like we said we didn't need Ben Brown, crikey what is that 2 worth now?
Pick 2 is not suited to our game plan. Soft pick.

Yeah, I thought that a bit strange. The circumstances were that Adelaide won by more than if they did the crappy deal. I suppose GWS don't intend to use picks as low as 40 - it's possible that no-one connected to GWS even realises that draft picks go past 25 - so it was worth it to send the message.

Annoying though, as flipping the outcome probably would have delivered us Caldwell.

And this is no “but Dusty has off-field issues as well” situation. De Goey is a dickhead off the field who cannot back up his ‘superstar’ claims on the field.

He's a 3rd forward in a traditional football side.

Micky Conlan.

Geoff Walsh, typical of the filth, fudges the real issue. It's not whether JS was endlessly told he wasn't measuring up during the year - it's the fact that he wasn't told he was being shopped at his exit meeting and he had to chase the Club to find that out. Bad look.

If they brought him in as the cooler, then he was a dismal failure.

Peak Tom Browne.

Thanks Eddie.

Even if remotely true it doesn't remove the fact that

a) the Collingwood football club started a public smear campaign against its own player, who they targeted, recruited and (over)paid, stating that he was not capable of being a professional footballer because of mental health issues that 'may arise' from his partner living interstate

and

b) the Collingwood football didn't have the decency to tell a young player, who signed a contract extension in good faith in early 2020, that they were looking to trade him, and the player had to call the head coach himself to confirm.

Pack of arse-covering dogs.
