I have no idea, but the Higgins for Constable rumour sounds bad to me. If we are going to take a player, they have to obviously be a best 18 player.

He maybe a top 18 player just way too young to get a game at Geelong

Cunnington, LDU, Simpkin... who does he replace? Best case scenario is a pine spot?

LDU and Bonar must be doing the recruiting.. bringing the class of ‘17 back together again.

I'm sure they will find a spot for him. Did this last year as a 20yr old in a stacked Geelong midfield. Kids got some talent if he gets consistent AFL footy and a set position in a side he'll be an absolute jet.

We need more than three in the mid to cover for injuries, suspensions and rotations through the game... we were really lacking in there without cunners this year so need him back plus some depth... and we also only have maybe 2 left of cunners? I would prefer Clark and I would prefer a first rder

Geelong wont give up clark though and would cost way too much to get him across. Best we just look to draft a similar type.

I doubt it would be a straight swap Tas - I think Constable would be more a sweetener/steak knife

I would have to disagree, Geelong rate constable pretty highly even if he is being pushed out of the club.
Maybe a super late pick in return but can see it being a 1-1 trade.

Pick up his brother in the draft and then in a couple of years get him across.

Gotta remember that although Higgins is a gun but he'll also be 33 come the 2021 season. This is basically a charity trade for Higgins and the clubs attempt to find him a home so he can continue his career. Anything past a 2nd rounder is worth it and you get 3 years of development into a constable type (20+ possession player) vs potentially Kid who we'll have to sit on for a few years.
