What's the catch on him? Highlights looked very good on season debut, ankle injury then didn't fire in 2020. Listed at 190cm. Intensity, speed, and pressure looked great, averaged just shy of a goal a game. Providing there's no off field issues, his body is right etc, reckon we'd be mad not to be talking to him. 1yr contract great risk/reward.

Just seems like a real head case.

My views on the Rama scapegoating in the BBB situation too have been stated before.

Your client kicked 10 goals in a career best game under the incoming coach. Of course you're going support their move to hold and pitch for a better deal.

Then not only did covid happen but the team seemed to switch to a structure and method of ball movement that could kindly be described as "dogshizen".

It was a reasonable gamble but the crucial point was - it was a gamble. On the information at hand circa February Ben might've tracked for an 80 goal year as the team replicated their late 2019 form and fully justified the decision.

I don't have info but I think he would be off our radar due to both his personal wage and the price of a first rounder, he's certainly not free hit in that respect.

Pretty sure from what I read about our rebuild, is that we'll hit the next two drafts and fill gaps with DFAs, then after that I expect we'll analyse our two catches and start to trade in specific needs.

We would not be looking to pay premium wages for now as we'll will need room to pay both the jets coming through our ranks and to trade in some others as needed.

That's my summation, so far.

The Cats have No. 13, No. 15 and No. 20 and have agreed to part with two of them for the Coleman Medallist.
Geelong want Cameron a later pick back from GWS.
