I don't expect us to take that many. Five is usually the amount of picks clubs usually take so I'm used to just listing five.

I hope we do not need to pressure Melbourne re Brown, but if we get a sh*t offer and we risk sending him into the PSD, he is likely going to be playing out his career in Adelaide.

I have no problem with that at all, either fair trade (3 second rounders ) or Adelaide it is

I don't expect us to take that many. Five is usually the amount of picks clubs usually take so I'm used to just listing five.

We had 40 senior players and lost Ahern, Daw, Crocker, Durdin, Jacobs, Macmillan, Wood, Pittard and Williams (Hosie and Murphy were rookies), so that is 9 senior players. We brought in Corr and now Young. We have to elevate Zoohar. So that is 6 spots atm. Looks like we will lose Higgins and Brown and we will get a pick(s) for them.

Senior list will drop from 40 to 38, so we still have 6 spots to fill, possibly 5 if we also elevate Hayden but not sure if that will happen. Doesn't sound like Polec is leaving unless something comes out of the blue. I don't think 6 kids in the draft is excessive.

So we have 2, 11, 28, 70 and 71 plus whatever happens with Brown and Higgins.

This all assumes we also sign up players like Anderson and Walker. We will have to see what kind of picks we get out of Melbourne and Geelong, if we get a good outcome we could perhaps ditch one of the picks to upgrade the weakest pick.

“Lachie is an athletic rebounding defender who intercepts the ball well and has a really nice kick,” Luff told North Media.
