The top 7 seem to be uniform with Draft lookers but after that views differ a lot.

Bruhn would be one of the big droppers imo. Would snaffle him in an instance if he was available at our pick.

Reid would be good as a tall option at our pick imo. Cox too but I’d prefer Reid.

Everyone can play forward, just a question of how well. Reid could be an elite defender with his ball skills, I don't see him reaching the same heights as a forward.

Only Except is Nik Cox. The kid can play as wing, tall forward , tall back or pinch ruck.

Chapman looks to have versatility too. There are others that will develop in positions outside of their preferred or current positions too, especially some of the Vic boys. Pigeonholing them is just naive imo.

I went back and watched a couple of East Freo's Colts games the other day.

I'm trying to think if any current AFL player moves as smoothly as Brandon Walker? If we manage to escape a 1st round bid on him we'll have done very well.

It'd be amazing if we can get two picks in before bids on Walker and Western but even if we don't, picking well with our first pick, plus Walker, plus Western, plus perhaps 1 or 2 more late could be another very good draft period for us.

We should only be bid matching if he is the best player for us at that selection.

Western's highlights (from this one game) probably don't do him justice but you do get a taste. He is small but he did spend all pre-season with the Claremont seniors and loves learning off Sonny. As I've said before he's a bit like Shai Bolton

I would agree if Walker had spent much time midfield. And I am hoping we get him, he looks terrific.
