Its better than what it was, but it should still probably be more. You could open up the top of the MCG and still have everyone spaced out as they were and you'd already get nearly 50k.
So do you think any of the matches in Victoria this weekend will even get to 40K including the Coll v Rich one at the G on Sunday?

Both MCG games would get usually get more than 40k. 40k full capacity is pretty much never going to turn up, but if the cap was 75k, they'd both get at least 50k.

Tickets are selling well for the Carlton vs Geelong game albeit with issues logging on to purchase tickets. I don't think it will get 30K more like around 27K 28K.

This made me laugh...

Last Saturday night’s attendance of 18,251 for Shaun Burgoyne’s 400th game was the biggest of the round. It was the fourth time this season that Hawthorn has been a participant in the game which attracted the largest crowd of the round. It previously happened in Rounds 3, 10 and 14, in games against Geelong, Carlton and Essendon, with the Hawks also having the second biggest crowds in Rounds 2 and 5.

Is the AFL improving overall including Kayo and streaming services?

It is hard to say for sure as we don't whether the actual method fox are using when they periodically release their averages and we don't have season values for previous years (or for AFL Live for that matter)....but basically this year the best estimate for the current round average for the AFL season to date is 4.65M which would I suspect would place it below last years apples with oranges comparison but ahead of every year since 2014.
