Lol seriously can we just have a ban on posting things ol clickbait Kornes says…

none of it is interesting and it’s all designed to just stir people up.

Hodgey wants a new rule! Hodgey gets a new rule.

No more clickbait s**t from Cornes in here.

Also:
Can we also threadban Rendell quotes. The bloke is senile.
Done ✔️

plus we're interested in lachie schultz

our small fwd stocks are actually okay, though we do need a defensive one. hoping Brocky can continue to improve his defensive game
If Frost gets forced out of defence through quality, he needs to be tried as a defensive forward (like Nash was hoped to be).

Would people consider trading Gunners? Is 30 in a few months time and now has back issues. If he could convince another club his back was ok, would hope we could get a pick in the late 20s for him and then use that on a young small forward with pace, x factor and a love of forward defensive pressure.

Worth more to us than what we would get. I'd say the only club crazy enough to offer a lowish pick for someone pushing 30 with a cooked back is Gold Coast and I'm not sure Gunners would be wanting to get on the move anyway.

Yeah, or package the late 20's with Collingwood's 2nd to get hold of another 1st.

Everything hinges on how his back is/has recovered.

If his back is fine, we'd be crazy not to keep.

Brisbane maybe an option, for a late first. They may see him as the missing piece to a premiership tilt, especially now Hipwood is out for 2022. They are in the window? Maybe....

The bulldogs is where teams need to go to convince players to leave for more opportunity. They seems to have an annual production line of freebies and discounted draftees that no other club enjoys (maybe the swans). This means they can move some blokes every year that would probably be getting a game elsewhere.

Before anyone suggests it, no to Wallace for the Hawks.

The likes of the following should be considered and would cost a third rounder or late second rounder at worst:

Lipinski
West
Richards
Vandermeer
R Smith

Honestly I'd prefer us having a bigger go at Bailey Smith. Bit part players aren't needed at this point, but if we could turn some draft collateral into a player like Cerra or Smith it'd be a great long term decision.

Dawson a gun.

Stephens we were interested in right, and Dawson is a good player. Unfortunately Dawson is a good player in an area of the ground where we have very many other, good players.

can't see parker leaving, and hewett is meh

Look we can ask for their best players, sure, but it's not going to happen. You would have to give up more than pick 2 and probably sell Mitchells farm to do it. Not going to happen

Tend to agree with this as well. Dawson a good player but probably not what we need.

Stephens be handy but no doubt cost a lot - think he was a high pick for $wans.

one of our seconds + Howe for a second back + Stephens would be the starting price id guess
Howe + 23 (26) for Stephens + 37ish (41ish) would be sweet!

*just checked his stats & he doesn't get much of it.
** went at Pick 5, they'd want at least 3x 1sts + COLA...
