The idea is to recruit them before they put in a big game performance- his value goes up big time now. He has always been a top footballer IMO. reminds me a bit of a champion saint who used to wear No 1 for a few years

Quite possibly but Freo don't have a great track record of developing key forwards, Pavlich is the one exception.

They had the chance to draft Jack Darling and passed on him as they thought he was too much trouble, now they have spuds like Taberner and Treacy.
