Imagine wasting nearly $1m a year on Zac Williams.

The 6 year deal taking him until he's 33 would be the bigger issue for mine. It's one pitfall we need to be careful of where you throw long and expensive contracts at FA's that take them into their 30's like Carlton and North Melbourne did cause you're desperate to get a little bit extra to try and get into the 8.

If Lycett did not take out McHenry, what would have happened when Murphy was injured?

McPherson would have come on as sub for Murphy rather than McHenry... & we would not have been a rotation down.

So yes, we would not have been down a rotation it Lycett was not a thug!

Some key points Lycett said was that the public need to understand that football is a physical game and his tackle over stepped the mark.

Ok Scott, let me spell it out for you. Its not just a physical game when you use your size and bulk with the clear intent to cause physical harm. You didn't think about the severe ramifications if you caused real damage. In fact we don't know that you didn't. What you did was a coward hit to act tough.

If you didn't do it, you wouldn't have copped the abuse. You need to own that.

All over everywhere now, the club are handling and the guy was an idiot for doing that.

What amazes me is the amount of people who genuinely think the tackle was ok....even though the sling happened after the whistle was blown and even though he then proceeded to drag the poor kid while he was cold and wouldn’t get off of him.

I have also seen a nice comment from a Richmond supporter alluding to the Crows being familiar with acts of the Catholic Church....Richmond going to do something about this?
