I really don't know if we are trading for anyone this period.

Think we hit the draft and get the NGA kids.

Ben King at end of contract. this year does not fit anybody's timeline and strategyin my view.

Clarko and Ben in next years trade period ;)

Clarkson will be looking for a gig close to home until he joins the Tassie Devils in 5-6 years. Good timing.

the point that GC will trade out the massive amount of later picks to someone like the dogs for their father son made perfect sense. i wonder if GC then trade up.

They will only be able to use the mandatory 3 draft selections because they have too many listed players who are contracted and nobody wants to accept their trash.

They have picks 3 and 19 at the moment. If they trade-in the Bulldogs pick, add pick 17 to the list.

3-17-19. I wonder if they offer 3-19 to GWS for pick 2. Then 2-17 to North for pick 1?

spot on. it makes sense for the dogs to do that.

i wonder if we are eyeing something similar if we get a bunch of 2nd rounders.

It’s possible Gold Coast re-rookie a player and then take Dunstan as a FA. They may only take one pick to the draft.

It might as well be pick 1 and then trade out their remain picks for future picks.

Plus try buying Flake in NSW , all they sell is that greasy blue grenadier, its sh1thouse

Why’s an old fisherman like you buying for anyway Risky?

Carp not biting? [emoji6]

And North give up the best player in the Draft ?

I heard that. It sounded like a little kiddie sent a text in.

Then some Essendon nuffie suggested that pick 11 would be enough for Gold Coast to trade Bing.

Why even read that trash out?

The best one was the Pies nuffy on SEN this morning who was pushing Darcy Cameron out the door for a 1st rounder

Hopefully Owens and Windhanger tank their testing.

In all seriousness, it would be a huge call for Owens to be taking a inside 20.

He was originally not picked for that Country v Metro game and got the late call up.

Was very good but mostly played off the flanks and wing.
Spot on. That would be the definition of a late Bolter. It would take a bit of dare for a club to take him with pick 15. If that happens, then so be it. That would mean there are going to be some great sliders in this draft if both NGAs get selected inside the top 20. Who will they push out?

Won’t help us though if there are top 30 sliders but our next pick is at 46.

Parmi or parma?

Let’s see whose IQ matches their shoe size.
Think you've had too many Swan lagers over there mate. It's parma, but I know WA is 30 years behind the rest of society.

What's a parmi? Had to look it up

Parmi
A fun-loving girl who loves playin sports, especially tennis and badminton. She is kind and sweet. She also loves spending quality time with friends and family. She loves to eat, especially tropical fruits such as coconuts. She is known for being very energetic and outgoing.
She’s so funny, like a Parmi

Its spelt Parmigiana , but its not pronounced Parmy Jarna , So if you are pronouncing it Parmy its wrong. Parma is not much different from Parme ( how do you do those little speech accents? ) and its based on Parmesan cheese.

The Americans just became confused ( as usual ) and dropped a whole syllable ( as usual ) , like they did with Aloooominum.

Anyway , i'm probably wrong and we should ask Gringo who is an authority on all things italian.
You may think i'm a clown but i have size 160 shoes.

I can't stand listening to Bj, one of the most arrogant blokes going around. Zero self awareness. Is still very bitter at the saints.

Tend to agree. Seems to be holding a huge grudge against the Saints, yet it is at our club where he made a name for himself. The way he talks about Essendon makes me laugh and feel sorry for him all at the same time. He had no success at the bombers, and wasted his career there. That’s not to excuse our incompetent administration who pushed him out, which was an absolute disgrace.
