How funny will it be if Norf do take Horne-Francis at 1 and Daicos is still on the board at 2, where Collingwood’s first pick would be, if they hadn’t offloaded it cheaply last year!?

If that happens they could have had two of the best 3/4 in the draft.

Might be the biggest draft blunder since we took a fat kid with diabetes at 1 ahead of the consensus no.1 pick in Petracca.

At least they get to console themselves with Daicos but it was a massive misstep.

I think he's the only media commentator that's actually discovered that our list is only old and experienced because we have a bunch of old blokes as back ups outside of Ryder.

Outside of Ryder I think Membrey/Hill would be the oldest blokes in out best 27/28

That list age is the average age of the total list so the 3 or 4 players under 21 brings our age right up from the bottom as well. We have the least under 21s in the AFL. We will have a very low average age once we get three new draftees in and a few old guys go out.

Witherdin did, but the issue with him is his defending and that's important when you play defence. I thought Brisbane was crazy letting him go but then seeing him this year, West Coast had the same issue with him. Shame as his ball winning ability and disposal is quite good.

Ask for their 15 and 44 and give them back a future second with Battle. The pick 44 pays for our academy bids.
