Who’s your pick out of those 3 WaynesWorld19
Still too early to call .....Clark was super impressive, but yet again another 181cm player .....Hewett has the aggression, size that we would like, a bit worried with his hands ....so needs more looks

McKenzie need more data to access

I have a lot of games to watch still

Zero chance? They gave gold coast pick 1 a few years ago.
Gold Coast is a side that the league needed to be competitive, and other clubs were picking off players.

North is just another side who's chosen to go backwards by making deeps cuts to their list.

You can't compare how much more of a priority GC is for AFL House, in comparison to North Melbourne.

Surprised we haven't started seeing more supercuts from the Championships games. Usually there's some good footage being drip fed out by now right?

Super keen to see some footage of the mid prospects this season

Clark seems on paper the exact sort of player Hamish covets, despite being the exact sort of player we don’t really need. Would not surprise me in the slightest if we drafted him.

Phillipou showing his class VS Vic M. Took a great mark in the wet 65m out, use his class to evade his opponent and run to 50m line for a long goal.

Yeah, he's on a different level. Even when winged just looks a class above.

Ashcroft and Wardlaw are the safe picks, but Phillipou's upside is just tremendous. Especially given he's a year younger than some of these kids.

Lewis Hayes (brother of Sam @ Port) another who I'm liking the look of. 197cm intercept/rangy defender. Nick Watson for next year is as freakish as it gets.

I missed the first quarter. Commentator mentioned Sheezel was good during that. Notice him standing out or high level plays?

The difference between the NAB League as a development pathway compared to the other states on show at Simmonds Stadium today...

Combine the best of the VM and VC teams and no other state would get within 10 goals.

Missed that but I’ve seen phantom drafts mention his disposal skills as being in need of improvement. If that’s the case then I’m not sure he would be the answer.

Having said all that, I’ve not seen enough of him to be able to confirm that or not

Who would be best mid available or us to draft at pick 3? Sounds like a few SA lads might be thereabouts? Is the Wardlaw hype real?

Not an elite kick but no problems on what I've seen, exceptional overhead and mid/forwards of his sizethat can consistently get amongst the goals are gold.

Hasn't played much mid after the 1st quarter today, reported to have picked up a back issue by the commentators,

This performance is putting some stark perspective on the SA crop. Not easy conditions but the Vics have been all over them.
Agreed.

This is the reality check for those SA kids.

Realistically, there are some late first and second round talents MAYBE, but nothing that should feature in the first half dozen selections, and that includes Phillipou.

If his disposal is acceptable (which is better than anything currently in the “best” 22 kids) then probably worth targeting
