I'd go Hayes, seems a much safer pick.

Lemmey hasn't got near it this year, and I saw some footage from a recent SANFL under u18 game at they were playing him down back to get some touches because he can't get a kick anymore up forward. Someone mentioned there's some confidence issues there. Looks like he'll go late, if at all. Wouldn't mind him with a late pick as a punt.

A guy who can't figure out how to even be competitive against U/18 competition is a 99.99% chance to not make it at AFL level.

Most gun forwards find it incredibly easy against this level of competition, and some guys who dominate this level of competition don't even make it in the AFL.

A guy who sucks against U/18s competition isn't worth worrying about. Let somebody else take the 0.01% shot on him.

I just would be interested to know why views on him have changed so dramatically in 12 months. It’s not like he was a speculative first rounder. He was talked about as the best KPF in the draft. How much different could his opponents be? was the team he played in rubbish? Unlike form and confidence, You don’t just “lose” talent without a major injury impacting it.

Maybe 12 months prior to the draft he was. He fell down the rankings a fair bit in that time and a lot of people were surprised that WC took him so early iirc. Obviously not as big of a slide as Lemmey, but still…

Yep. Two massive red flags. Bogan spelling and a boys name beginning with J - I wouldn't be able to barrack for him.

Im way more worried about our mids than KPFs. We need to bring another elite mid to come through with Daicos

I'll be conservative and say we end up with two late first rounders.

Ideally we walk away with a KPP and a mid: Elijah Hewett should be snapped up first if he falls to us, and I personally rate Max Gruzewski as the highest ceiling tall outside of Cadman. Won't be fussed if Hine goes for Keeler as the more traditional KPF though.
