I thought band 1 was $800k plus - so likely band 2. However with Port you never know. Watch out for another trade with the Hawks where the Power take some salary cap off their hands

Someone on the Bulldogs forum said a poster called C4 (who has good mail in the past) on the Port Power forum mentioned this as they are eyeing that first rounder for Dunkley but I've been reading $650K for a while so not sure.

Daniher got a 1st rounder a few years ago with $750K so will be touch and go with $700K.

All I know is, the Crows need to add height to the squad, which in turn means removing some of the over abundance of smalls. It was ridiculous to carry Rowe, McHenry and Murphy into games. Neither of them are midfielders at AFL level and non of them could play half forward at all well.

Out of all of them, I'd probably keep Murphy as depth and trade off McHenry for a 3rd rounder and delist or trade Rowe for a 4th or 5th rounder / pick swaps.

This Ned talk sounds ridiculous, but players in contract are going to have to make way though. So would not be surprised if a name not yet mentioned gets thrown up.

Throw in Carlton cooling on McAsey and Sholl and things will get real interesting.

If list sizes go up by 2 and we bring in 6, 4 need to go out, right?

It's looking like 4-6 need to go off the list, only 2 uncontracted, so potentially 2-4 contracted players.

If no changes to list sizes, it looks something like this,

Upgraded rookies can be part of the 3 minimum list upgrades... but we will be trading out players to free up spots.

That’s twisting my words a little. I consumed a lot (true) and had some chats with a couple of the boys. They were good value, couldn’t get any direct news haha my stuff is second/third hand.
