Since no one wants Turner wouldn't we be better off delisting him and drafting him again in the rookie draft if no one better is available?

Thought we would've had some list announcements this week.

De listings are dependent on how many players we bring in, which is dependent on what we end up giving up for Rankine and what picks we have to spend if we intend on taking Michalanny.

With the exception of Davis all of our uncontracted players are either trade options or their futures are linked to available list spots. It makes sense that the club is undecided on those players at this point.

He will leave Adelaide in a heart beat if any club offers him a contract/games.

The point is that by delisting him, we have the option of selecting another player in the RD, if we think they're likely to turn out better than Turner. If no such player still exists, we can always re-draft him with our last selection in the RD.

Delisting him gives us flexibility, with minimal risk of any untoward outcomes.

Clearly a step above SANFL level (I spoke to a couple of guys he played against and they said the same), still a huge question whether he is AFL quality but he is that size that so many of us are begging for. I personally don’t understand all the hate for McHenry.

Sure he isn’t the most well rounded footballer, but he is not anywhere near the worst.

I think he has upside.

I’d want to see the back of Rowe, Crouch, Frampton, Hately and Sloane before anyone approaches Ned’s shoulder.

From watching Geelong, Sydney and Collingwood, pressure and endurance are two of the most important traits for players to gave. As soon as there is a turnover its manic pressure and run the other way as fast as possible. Ned can make use of these traits well enough, He's relatively poor at everything else, hence why so many here have little time for him.
