Not my problem, just think the players and afl would be disappointed that the reigning premiers fail to draw 30k to a home game.
ok, I mean I couldn't care less. Crowds are down across the board but read somewhere that we are one of few teams who are up on average

Whatever, this is the membership thread, soon as me or my mum bother to go watch the dees i’ll update the crowd figure thread.
Does mama Toump hate Tmac and his dirty meat eating ways too???

She doesn't follow footy actually, her husband is a Carlton supporter so can't blame her really.
Loves meat though, really loves it. She'd probably get on really well with Tom actually. They could sit around and talk about sausages and Jordon Peterson all day.

Thought I'd help with your little debate. haha
cheers i read it a few times that Carlton and Melbourne were the biggest risers i think which makes sense. AFL would be concerned with that bottom 3-5 for sure

Bulldogs and North will always be bottom no matter what. Gold Coast and GWS will be for at least the next 10-15 years, while Brisbane's Home ground holds 30k so that average will probably end up between 25-30k by end of year.

do you know if/how much the dogs have dropped by? feel they were pretty reasonable last season when they were good

They've been the same.
go to this link... select the years pre covid 2019,2018 etc and select home games. you'll see what I mean. Keep in mind teams performances in that year.
2018 AFL Crowds and Match Attendances

you'll see even in bulldogs premiership year, their home attendances were poor

You'll see 2010 and 2011 when Collingwood Carlton and Essendon were all up and about. and 2017 when Richmond won their first flag in 30 years.

Or, you could put it in it's proper context and point out that Nth and WB played "home" games in Hobart and Ballarat in front of two blokes and a dog, and Melbourne had a few big "home" fixtures at the 'G, including the season opener.

2018 AFL Crowds and Match Attendances

Check this link and look at the Bulldogs premiership year of 2016 mate. Tell me there's a big difference between this year and that year. Proper context. I agree Melbourne are pulling in poor crowds for a reigning premier but lets be honest, they have the oldest demographic in the AFL, plus Melbourne home games are always at the G, so at some point they're going to play big teams which will bump up their average. Is the Queens birthday Collingwood or Melbourne home game?

hows saints gonna claim 60k members and cant even get half of that to games?

memberships are always going to be false figures , baby members , kids members , members that dont turn up , millions of different packages

its all pointless who has the most members
